A dungeon with a labyrinth like network around it, all paths will eventually lead to the center which is a large open space built as a main area. Unused for so long it smells dusty and the torches in the place only give enough light to see, there are however things that are extremely flammable and once lit they won't go out thus giving the area a comfortable glow.
Rules:- • No stats. • No upgrades. • No godmodding. • 48 hours to post, if you don't post in 48 hours you will be penalized and lose points. • Post after the time limit three times and you'll automatically forfeit. • If you dodge a lot of attacks and it doesn't seem possible or feasible then you WILL be penalized for it and you will LOSE win points. • Do not say that you definitely hit, this will lose you points. Instead state that you 'attempted' to hit rather than dictating that it's a definite blow. • Do not try doing a ton of things in one turn. If you use a couple of spells or skills then that is your turn used up, you may defend, dodge and counter during the same turn though. • The more fluid you are with your attacks and movements the more points you gain. Roy makes his way through the labyrinth like tunnels annoyed at the dim lighting. After walking for a while he comes across the main chamber and notices the flammable materials and smirks. He pulls his gloves making sure they are on snugly before he snaps his fingers on both hands in different directions lighting a couple of things on fire adding more light to the area though there's still plenty of objects that can be lit ablaze.
He takes a moment to scan the area. "Fighting in a labyrinth.." He keeps his eyes out for his opponent. He snaps his fingers towards a random passage to create more light not really aiming to hit anybody though if he does it would be in the knee or foot.

This was perfect. Low light labyrinth, this was the kind of field he was used to. He keeps the hood up and takes notes of every connection to every hallway. Better to keep a mental map not knowing his opponent. He finally gets close to the main area, but his opponent is there already. He sees the ignited items, casting more light but nothing his eyes couldn't handle, particularly at this range. Though he then say the what he was sure was man launch a blast of fire along the ground. Fuck, fire user.... best not to use that form... also probably best I keep to the shadows and away from close combat. Staying in the shadowed corridor where he should have blended with his dark cloak. On the one hand, the corridors gave cover, but there were only a few entrances with sight lines. which meant it wouldn't be hard to figure out shot direction, but which way he went after.
He decided on his initial attack plan, he'd have to wait and see what his opponent did. There was a slight creak of wood as he aimed an arrow at his opponents right shoulder. The man was seemed to be facing him and he'd have just enough time when it got to the light to move. Launching the arrow he quickly moves off to a passage on his right, creating a hard to see rune halfway between his corridor and the main hall. If the man came to investigate, Rune would be waiting to detonate it once the footsteps sounded close enough.

Notices the arrow and spins to the side though his left shoulder is grazed. He looks towards where the arrow came from and sees a shadowy figure in one of the corridors he snaps his fingers on his right hand aiming for his opponents chest. He also launches a fireball towards one of the light sources near the corridor that his opponent is in. He continues to stare in the direction moving to the side a bit after launching the attacks and lighting the flammable material.
"Hiding isn't going to help you against me. I've fought blind before so if you think hiding in shadows gives you an advantage you're sorely mistaken." He keeps his eyes on the target as well as he can figuring the bow wasn't the only thing his opponent had at his disposal. Though if that was the case he wasn't the only one with an ace up his sleeve.

Rune was thankful to have moved do the side passage just in time, though he patted out part of his shirt that had caught fire from the flames and looked at some of the scorching visible even on his faded black leather armor. way to close... he thought to himself as he noticed the flickering shadows from the hallway he had shot down. His opponent had lit something up so that the hallway was lit up now meaning he was a clear target if he ran across to the other passage way. Then he heard his opponent speak. "Hiding isn't going to help you against me. I've fought blind before so if you think hiding in shadows gives you an advantage you're sorely mistaken." He thought a moment, knowing replying could give his spot away, but perhaps he could use that to his advantage, as he heard no footsteps getting closer.
"As have I, but that is merely adopting it, I was though born in darkness." he replied. "And your mistaken if you think I need to hide in the shadows." He added, before he stepped around the corner and immediately launched a blizzaga spell down it. If it hit great, but it was more a distraction as he sprinted to the other hall and past another passage to the middle to the next, the padding on his shoes making almost no sound as he moved. He took a few seconds to think. If he had hit him it wasn't enough, meaning he'd have to get closer. But he could feel the sting from where his clothes had caught fire and to scorch his armor in that manner that was intense heat. Possibly... enough to have turned rubble and ground to glass. If this was what cause that destruction in the abandoned part of the town, he was in for a world of hurt if got hit by those flames. He waited for some indication of the opponents next move before trying to attack again. At this point, he needed to figure out how to attack him.

Roy managed to roll out of the way of the high level ice spell in the nick of time. The spell impacted the ground where he had been. Icicles form along the ground where he had been as he lights another object near the corridor the ice spell had come from though it was deserted now. He glanced at the other passages near the one the ice spell had come from.
"How about we get some more light in here?" He waves his hand in the direction of the passages as he launches an Elysian spell sending out waves of gold and white light towards the four passages along the wall there. The light spell wash through the passages with the possibility of hitting anyone in the tunnels there.

Rune sighed and put his head against the wall. Despite a battlefield that should have lent to his fighting style, he was at a disadvantage. Against someone with fire abilities, and the best counter meant making himself even weaker to it. And range combat was at best limited in that he had to get closer to score a better hit. It didn't seem that this guy was as fast, so maybe he'd have a advantage at mid range? But that meant getting out in the open. He got stuck with an opponent that was definitely a cut above his usual. And he didn't need anything for his fire magic, which made him that much more of a pain.
Though his thoughts were interrupted as light burst out of the ground around him. He couldn't hold back the bit of a yell as it hit him. He closed his eyes and off pure reflex managed to land on his back and roll. Odds were the sound gave him away, but as he opened his eyes his vision was heavily blurred. Not to mention it hurt to. Fire AND light magic? Why did the universe seem like it set its will against him? He decided to lay there as if knocked out, the hand not holding the bow a half second reach from a concealed blade. At this point he needed his eyes to clear before trying to really move, so might as well see if he could lure his opponent in close enough so the fact his visibility was limited at best made little difference.

Frowns after his opponent falls silent after the shout. He can't shake the feeling that it's some type of trap. He lights a couple other light sources near the corridor the scream came from before walking cautiously towards the corridor incase it really is a trap. Someone playing possum really wouldn't surprise him. Hopefully the person wouldn't see him walking toward the entrance of the corridor.
He sees someone, with from what he can tell in the light, silver hair laying on the ground as if unconscious a d frowns. "If you think I'm stupid enough to fall for that you have another thing coming." He moves back out of the corridor and waits for his opponent to make a move.

Patience, thankfully something he usually maintained in a fight like this. Though, he ran things through his head as he lay there. That outfit he wore, what was it. It seemed uniform like, but for what. Mailman? Military? just a style thing? So far his opponent hadn't even tried to get close. And with that damned fire magic of his it seemed to be he was more a range fighter. But it seemed... different. This wasn't any sort of magic he could think of. So then came the question, if he was military... would he even get close enough.
He got his answer as his opponent came to the intersection of his passage and the one that led back to the center. Thats right, little closer to make sure I'm out Rune thought to himself. But it looked like they weren't going to quite fall that way. "If you think I'm stupid enough to fall for that you have another thing coming." He watched his opponent move back and from the sound, back out of the hall all together. great, has to be military given the better look and him not falling for it.... smart if not for one mistake He got up into a run and used his full speed to cover the hallway in an instant, thank the lords for that ability working better here then at home, slowing as he came out having tried to make sure he was closer now, but still moving as he launched a blizarra spell followed by an aerora one. He had to avoid stopping if he wanted any chance against a fire and light user.
