PERSONALITY General Personality ►: Thirteen lives in a world that is concrete and kind, at least in his mind it is. He's warm and kind-hearted, and despite how cruel life has been to him he wants to believe the best of people. He tends to value harmony and cooperation, and is usually likely to be very sensitive to other people's feelings. Thirteens inner world is rather rich and sadly it is not usually obvious to observers. He's constantly taking in information about people and situations that is personally important to him, and he stores it away. This tremendous store of information is usually startlingly accurate, because of that it makes him a rather good gift giver as he'll remember and take in what those around him like. He values security and kindness, and respects traditions and laws. He tends to believe that existing systems are there because they work. Therefore, he's not likely to buy into doing things in a new way, unless he's shown in a concrete way why its better than the established method. He doesn't usually express his own feelings, keeping things inside this is due to both the way he's been taught to do things and also because expressing himself could have in his own world lead to his execution. If these feelings are negative feelings, they may build up inside until they turn into firm judgments against individuals which are difficult to unseed, once set. Just as he's not likely to express his feelings unless told to do so, he's also not likely to let on that he knows how others are feeling unless it's truly necessary. Thirteen may come off as withdrawn or perhaps even cold at times but this is not the case at all. He's just extremely wary of others and he has a lot of pent up fear, he will over time open up to those around him, but it won't be a sudden or immediate thing that'll happen. He still has to get used to the changes that have been made to his life. WEAKNESSES • Blind Decreases a targets accuracy by a quarter for three turns/posts. - Weakness - The user cannot use this again for a full four posts/turns. (Must have the rpers permission) Lasts an extra turn • Poison Poisons a single target/enemy, the target loses a small amount of their health over 4 posts/turns. +25% extra damage • Wound Lowers a single targets/enemies health for three turns/posts. - Weakness - It also lowers the casters health. Lasts for an extra turn. • Physical Weakness Stops a single target/enemy from physically attacking for two turns/posts. This does not effect magical attacks. - Weakness - Cannot be used in conjunction with Silence. Lasts for an extra turn. • Slow Removes auto-haste and/or haste, if haste is not enabled it slows the target down allowing them to only move 1 square in the battle grid or use only 2 combination slots. In threads this will slow the target down. Lasts for three turns during bg, two turns during pvp. Cooldown of five turns. (With Rpers consent.) HISTORY Relatives ►: N/A History ►: Most of Thirteens history is cloudy and a bit blurry at best, though he is aware of what he is he can no longer remember what his original name was nor can he remember whom his family is or where he's originally from. He's spent so long as a servant or more a slave to those around him and those that took him in or purchased him that he's seemingly lost most of his will to fight back and has become afraid of change. He's lived long enough to go through at least three possibly four sets of owners so he's rather long lived, and when he was originally captured he was rather tiny, in the sense that he wasn't in a human form, instead he was caught in a net and put in a bottle. His first owner is the one that originally got hold of him and they broke him down, took away his name, gave him a number instead and forced him to work for him. Over time whatever person he had been before his capture became a distant memory and eventually it was all but lost to him. Simple norms became luxuries and Thirteen learned quickly that it was much easier to just do as he was told to rather than to resist it because when he did resist it, he often had the displeasure of either being hit with an iron bar or having iron shavings thrown at him. It was agonizing. His last few owners have been the same, cruel. They cared little for him or any of the other servants they had. Their servants were also forced to do things that are not pleasant in nature. He's only healthy right now because of the couple that actually rescued him. Elijah and Yissé, his current owners. Elijah is the one who bought him from another noble, one who rarely fed him and then beat him when he did things wrong. It was when he dropped a cup or two because he couldn't hold the tray any longer that the person started to beat him for embarrassing them and he just took it without any crying or pleas for help, it was visible that he was used to that and before he knew what was going on the person was stopped and he was sold off just as quickly as ever. It hasn't been all that long since he was taken in by Elijah and Yissé but he's trying to get used to the sudden change, even more so with the fact that he and Elijah have some how ended up in this new world. He is however happy that he's here and he's making a visible effort to deal with this change. The only thing he really fears now is going home because if he becomes too comfortable with the way things are here? He'll break under the strain of going back there. |
