General Personality ►: Basch is one of those men that one would look up to for his strong loyalty to his kingdom and his comrades. He is selfless man, putting the needs of others before his own no matter what the cost. Once he promised to do something he would stick by his word until it was complete no matter what it is. He is straightforward and unwavering man in almost anything he does. He tends to have a sense of dry humor and can be an idealist when the time calls for it.
He tends to use his experience and try to help others when they need it. He is still not very good at comforting others through physical touch. And he can get uncomfortable because of it. He will take charge and form the best way to get out of situations without endangering others. He is very professional when addressing others and it would take a while before he can address someone somewhat familiarly.

1. Human - Basch is human and heavy blows can kill him
2. Age - While Basch is agile and strong he is still not as young as he is was. So sometimes his age can be a problem. There are people faster than him.
3. Noble - Basch is way too noble and can never say no to an ally's request no matter how small it is.
4. Nightmares - Basch sometimes has nightmares when he sleeps. It is about the regets he has done.
5. Dark spells(Dark,Darkra,Darkga) - These spells do more damage than other spells.
6. Sense of Duty - Basch often feels like he has to do more than what is needed. While he isn't reckeless he can get in the way of others if they are about to get hurt.
7. Other humans - Basch is compassionate, and he tries to help any person that needs help.
8. Bad spellcaster - Basch isn't good when it comes to spells, he prefers to use physical power than magic.
Abilities ►:
1. Vortex of Judgement - Spin around up to three times, drawing the foe in and knocking them away. Can continue attack even if first strike misses. This attack can be dodged once the opponent gets out of the radius of the attack. It also causes Basch to leave himself open once he stops.
2. Rupture - Charge at the opponent and knock them away. Basch will either leap up or dive down, depending on the opponent's position in relation to him. If the attack misses then Basch will either slam into the ground or jump in thesky depending the direction he missed.
3. Gaia Breach - Slam the ground with sword and send a wave of energy forward that homes in at the enemy, launching him into the air. Can be blocked with a magical attack.
4. Innocence - Charge swords with energy and slice the air rapidly, firing four large blades of energy towards the opponent. The blades can arc up or down on a slight angle. The blades go in one direction once launched, though they are large it can be dodged.
5. Apocalypse Shield - Conjure a large sphere of energy around Basch . Release button to send out a shock wave in all directions. Short range but large radius. Basch leaves himself open for a few moments once the effect wears off. Also He cannot move from where he is once activated.
6. Fulminating Darkness - Basch gathers green and black energy and fires it as a torrent of energy that explodes on contact. Has a good range of 4 yards, however, it only goes one direction.
7. Ruin Impendent - Basch's fists glow with a green-blue hue as he punches at the target. The force of the blows knock them away. Has a recoil damage on Basch once used, he loses about 10% of his strength and stamina.
8. Flame Purge - Ten Swords made of fire and energy twirl around before pointing at the target(s). Basch can decide of it attacks spread out of focus on one target. After the blade strikes close by it will detonate to a pillar of flames. (This Attack is time consuming and takes a lot of energy from Basch, so it is used as a last resort technique) Basch loses about 30% of his strength after usage.
Spells:
Protect
Lowers physical damage taken by a single target for three turns/posts. Cuts damage by a quarter.
- Weakness - Caster takes a quarter more damage from attacks if they haven't used protect on themselves for three turns/posts.
Fire
Normal/Minor fire damage to a target sends fire balls at the target.
Aero
Normal/Minor wind damage to a target sends bladed gusts of wind at a target.
Holy
Normal/Minor light damage to a target a single bolt of light hits the target.
Weapons ►: Chaos Blade and Highway Star - Two swords that once belonged to his brother. Now that he has taken his place as Judge Magister he uses these weapons. They can come together as a double edged spear or separate as two swords.

Doctor's Code - Adds more healing power to potions (+100 HP recovery)
x2 Chocobo Wing - Casts haste on the entire party for FIVE turns.

After peace came to Ivalice Basch went with Larsa to protect him in his brother's place. He served as a mediator between Dalmasca and Archades. Basch was fine with this, he had made a promise to Basch that he will always keep an eye on Larsa. Which he believe that would be his only duty.
Once night while he was looking at the sky he felt something strange, a strange light surrounded him as it teleported him away from the balcony where he was located. Basch wasn't sure what happened or what was going but his eyes got heavier and heavier until he fell asleep.
When he came to he awoke in a new world, he was confused since he had never seen this city that he found himself in. Basch started to wander around aimlessly, he wanted to try and find out where he was.
He came in contact with two beings, Oblivion God of Death and Kasumi Goddess of Wind. Both explained to him what had happened. That he was summoned from his world to fight. Then he had met Ateis, Goddess of Light. Kasumi said that he was best suited for Ateis, and Basch noticed a familiar look in her eyes. They were the eyes of someone who has lost all hope.
Basch did his best to talk some sense into her. To get her to break open her heart and let people in. If he was going to serve as her knight then he will do his best to protect others. Basch knew he had to do this, not just for himself and for the gods. He had to do it for the sake of Ivalice.
With that in mind he became the Champion of Light and lended his sword arm to Ateis.
