General Personality ►: Typically Rune comes of at first as cold, apathetic, serious, or even shady given his preference to hide his appearance. To some degree this is accurate, he can be rather cold at times, especially if he's in a fight or the like. Most of his apathy is actually practiced to give off the impression he doesn't care about things, and just feed in to what most people think of him. Rune does have a tendency for being serious about a good majority of things, though not as serious as one may think and as far as shady, the life he's had to live has had him spend most of his time in the shadows and on the wrong side of the law so it's second nature.
But beneath that there is far more. As said before most of his apathy is a facade he puts up partially to try and protect his own emotions. Having had several loses in people close to him he's simply tried to make it hurt less if it happens again and to call bluffs, but if it goes against anything he feels is right or involves someone he cares about then the facade breaks quite easily. He cares about others having grown up both in the luxury of a palace and the streets with nothing, he sees both sides of the coin and feels those who can should protect and help others, not hoard their valuables. Though when it comes to morals, his aren't exactly the greatest. He feels stealing something back is fine as long as you return it to the owner, and that there really isn't such a thing as a fair fight. In his home he's made plenty of enemies in the upper class because he doesn't stand for their corruption and greed, and has stolen from or threatened them plenty of times. He also with his life style has come to a point that if you draw a weapon on him that could be lethal, then your a threat, and he won't refrain from using lethal force unless he has a reason. Their is plenty of bodies in his past, so killing for him isn't really all that hard, though the majority of it has been self defense, or those that couldn't possibly try and claim to be human with the things they've done.
Of course through everything he's gone through, there is still a part of him that retains how he was as a child and when he was younger. He can at times drop the serious act and screw around, particularly when he's breaking the law. If you take time or find a way past everything, and he can feel relaxed around you, he's more prone to opening up beyond basics or his past. It's at that point you can see he's not nice to others and such just to do so and seem like less of a jerk and that he is actually a nice guy. It's also at this point he'd also fess up that as comfortable as he is with killing, he doesn't like it all that much, and wishes he wasn't so comfortable with it. That being said, he understands some people just need to not live. He's also just terrible at relationships, and not because of his live in the moment cause he could be dead tomorrow lifestyle but just, doesn't know how to act in a long term relationship. With the type of girl that is well, loose and good for a night he seems fine, but with any other girl? He can be somewhat awkward because he's accustomed to the opinion really meaning very little, and worries about leaving a bad impression. Though, one trait that stays regardless of how well you know him, he is somewhat paranoid, understandable when he's been hunted most of his life.

Cold climates - Part silver dragon, so cold is kinda his thing
Helping others - he'll never really admit it, but he does
playing with mechanical devices - he's worked with so many and you never know when you may need to know how it works
the dark - The region he was born in has trees and canopies so tall and thick almost no light gets through from the sun, and the first time he was out of it was at age 12, so his eyes aren't well acclimated to bright light.
Bloodline ability - He likes the fact that he can move much faster and all
Learning new weapons and techniques - he likes flexibility
being short - because it has it's advantages
Dislikes ►:
Being short - has it's disadvantages AND it's annoying as hell.
His uncle - killed his parents, took and uses his sister as a human weapon, and has spent the last ten years trying to kill him... what's to like?
Greedy/corrupt people - If you have excess? you should help those with none, and you shouldn't be crooked
Bright lights - He cant really see in them and fighting blind has it's limitations
Heat - he doesn't like hot climates
Fire - He doesn't like heat.. and doesn't like being on fire... or near fire.. unless he has control of it.
Bloodline ability - despite it's benefits, it has plenty of drawbacks, after all, his hair used to be brown.
Anyone that hurts others for no reason - should be something no one likes <<
Being tricked and used - yeah... as much as he has done it, he doesn't like having it done to himself.
Guns - Their loud, and (on his world forthe most part) can only fire one round before having to be reloaded, making them more a one off weapon of luck.
Weaknesses ►:
Girls - attractive girls are easily distracting, even if only for a moment if hes fighting.
Light - normal daylight is already too much for his eyes, so anything that level or higher actually causes a level of pain and makes it impossible to see normally.
Fire based attacks- Does not fair well against it (ie, flaming swords, flaiming arrows, etc) -takes 25% more damage-

Overconfidence - he's so accustomed to the enemies he fights being lower in skill and power that he underestimates opponents at first glance save for ones he doesn't know what they are or are obviously strong.
Strength - For his size, frame, and build he is quite strong, however,
there are plenty of stronger people out there.

Dragon blood form - Based from Rune's heritage as a silver dragon, while adding dragon wings that allow him to fly and a tail, it allows him to use spells he otherwise normally has difficulty doing so. However, the trade off is that he cannot use his bloodline ability at all in this form, and that his weakness to fire and fire magic is greatly increased. [increases extra dame from fire based spells/attacks from 25% to 50%] (all spells/abilities below this can only be used by him in this form)

Freezing breath - can breathe out air cold enough to freeze water and about as damaging as a blizzard attack. Can only cover a small area, fire magic can cancel it out.
Weapons ►: Sword - A katana style sword that Rune always carries on his back, the blade is in itself unique that in it's construction of metal is also dragon scales from Rune's grandmother, which allows him to channel ice based magic attacks through the sword.
Knives/daggers - Small, portable, easily concealed, Rune usually has about a dozen of these anywhere on his persons.
Composite re-curve short bow - A short bow Rune carries with the quiver, while being small enough to even be used on horseback and easier to maneuver with and carry, the design and construction gives it about the same range and power of a long bow.
Custom made "repeating" crossbow - A crossbow Rune constructed himself, it's rather small in size by crossbow standards, so much so most people could one hand it, though fires unusally small bolts because they are loaded in a box attached on the bottom. It's called repeating because the side has the grip for the bolt to be pulled back, which allows the spring to push the next bolt up while pulling the string back as well, making it somewhat faster in firing then hand loading and more compact then standard self loading crossbows. The drawback though is that it is actually only very good for a relatively short range, accuracy is a problem beyond about 60 feet.
Flint pistol - A pistol from his world that he has but isn't fond of using. Somewhat advanced compared to a normal flintlock pistol, as the round is more bullet shaped, the barrel has rifling, and the ammo comes in a way that requires less guess and all, its still really only a one shot weapon.
Elbow blades - A pair of blades are held much like a tonfa and are better suited for defensive fighting, usually carried with one on either side, or both at his back at the waist line.
Shocking burst staff - A staff magically charged with lightning magic, emitting a burst of electrical energy when it strikes.

History ►: Rune was the second child of Celestia and Rastlyn Ravencroft. That being said, his parent's ruled an nation known as Aerilon, and as it was a monarchy, that made him prince, and because his sister was born mute, the next in line for the throne. So for the first 6 years of his life he was raised in a castle, and while not quite waited on hand and foot (his parent's didn't believe in such treatment), was somewhat accustomed to that life style. Though, that being said, his parents and sister were slightly puzzled by him. The family had two separate bloodline abilities that acted as a shield and sword for one another and while clear Rune possessed the opposite one of his sisters, showed no real gift for the use of magic. His fathers side of the family excluded his mother alone was half elf and dragon, throwing a fireball should have been well, child's play.
But that didn't matter much, as the ability Rune inherited more boosted his physical abilities and magical abilities, but at that age save for a couple times he was made angry he couldn't use or control it. But things changed drastically before he was seven. While out visiting another country, the caravan was attacked by "bandits" and his parents killed along with their escorts. Though to no one that was alive's knowledge, his mother escaped and simply conjured a fake body to fool the attackers. But because she was in fact aware the man behind it was Rune's uncle, her husband's brother, she stayed away knowing it meant putting her kids in more danger. Those that followed him were fanatical, simply arresting him would do no good.
Given Selene could not directly speak and was still too young, and rune far from old enough, their uncle was the next in line, till Rune was old enough. He had the pair sent to a house on the outer skirts of the castles surrounding town, where Selene despite her age did her best to raise Rune. Rune of course had learned and figured out what hand signs meant what so that they could talk and understand one another, but it did mean he could more easily ignore her. But that was rare because the pair were quite close. But when Rune was 9, three men in armor broke the door in, and dragged his sister away and knocked him out. When he woke up they were long gone, but he heard more voices coming and what they said was along the lines of getting rid of him because the other person had been too weak.
He ran out of the house, and was noticed and chased till he eventually lost them. From that day on, he was pretty much unable to find a home or shelter, forced to run, hide and steal to survive. He learned things on the fly, or from others that taught him briefly. He was for the most part a sharp learner, but some things in the magic field mainly were beyond him. When he was thirteen though, he met a girl two years younger then him who was wondering around and clearly had been for a while. He had just stolen some food and offered her some, which she took of course and ate as if she hadn't eaten in days. Rune asked her name and all, but she said she couldn't remember. So he gave her a name and brought her along, teaching her what he knew and such. Four years alone he needed some company. But a few months later, they ended up surrounded by several of his uncles more rabid soldiers. At this point his uncle had been abusing his sisters powers to take over the other nations on the continent. While they got pinned there was a loud crack and next thing he knew the girl, Lilith, was bleeding from the shoulder, the group apparently having fire arms. Rune went into a rage, which brought his blood line ability to the surface. The wings that appeared, not real so much as the form the excess magic energy generated took as it exited the body so as to not burn out the person using it. That being said while it made him more then capable of fighting the group with the drastic increase in speed, strength and other such things, it required a lot of energy, and because he had no control burned through his magic energy quickly, and so because he was still using it, switched to the next available type, actual life energy. He used it so long the color of his hair became pure white, and his eyes a paler green. There was no one left to fight, but Lilith had to drag him as he passed out from the over use.
He started practicing to use it afterwords, but very brief amounts, after all it took days to recover enough energy just to wake up and get out of bed. He had no desire to become reliant on it because it was dangerous for him to use. Without a family member like his dead father, or even his aunt who was missing (who at least had the same power as his sister) to help him learn how to use it efficiently, he had no idea what his time limit rally was, before it would start draining non magic energy again. By age 16, regardless of operating in pair or alone, the two had made quite a name with their heists and escapades. Some good.. most not by the letter of the law. Rune in particular while having a style many considered flashy, particularly in fighting, he would seemingly vanish into thin air amongst a crowd. But his skills in deception, theft, fighting, and "connections" would prove useful to another. When he was seventeen, and staying with a woman who made weapons and armor, further improving his own skills which had been mostly trial and error, two soldiers came to the door knocking for him. He hid as the woman opened the door, and being the rude fool he was the first one shoved her out of the way to the floor, which ended with him on the floor as Rune flew from behind the door and kneed him in the face, quickly pinning the other shorter soldier to the wall with a blade to their throat, till it became clear the soldier was a woman, more so when it became apparent it was a misunderstanding and that the head of a temple of all people wanted to see him. He reluctantly agreed to it and followed them, though not without incident, though this one planned by the man he was going to see. While he intended to call it off at the last second if Rune failed, he wanted to make sure Rune was not simply a thief who worked for money and had some morale's and ethics and all. So he decreed one of the priestess's a heretic to be burned at the stake. When Rune found out from his escort the situation, he broke free of them and assaulted the guards dragging her to the town center, which resulted in him being surrounded but drawing his weapon. It was at this point the man decided to step in, laughing as he told the guards to lower their weapons and that they stood no chance if he fought them armed.
Learning this was a test did not build much trust for Rune in the man, but comments he made on the way puzzled him, as if he knew more. He listened to the man's proposal to the group, ignoring the disdain he received from all but one of the group, but at the same time, choosing to play into what they thought of him. Though the man made an unusual comment that it would more then likely serve all their interests, public or not, and clearly directed it at him. Out of curiosity he chose to follow up, plus the promise of lots of money. The first mission went well, minus getting knocked out by a construct that blindsided him from nowhere and probably would have killed him were he actually human. The second went even better, minus the the rage moment that terrified his comrades as he eviscerated a monster with only a pair of kukri's. However, in researching the fact they found a crossbred dragon, they found themselves in a underground trap filled labyrinth. On the way in there was no problems, the traps were disarmed. However, upon entering the room, Rune discovered and old friend dead, seemingly preserved but some small scorch marks. The group was shocked when he appeared to be looting her body, though one after an incident involving said comrades sister who was in the group, the one person in the group that didn't hate him just for being "a rogue", himself, and a lot of alcohol, thought that much worse. But he pointed out that it was a friend, and she had entrusted those items to him, and that if he suggested that again he'd kill him. However, touching a pendant she had been wearing, he caught a brief glimpse of what happened, but the fool already had the half orc grab the chest. They managed to get out without getting touched by the fire, a magic one that didn't actually burn you, but made you feel as if you were burning alive as you suffocated. It was then they noticed the pressure tile raised and that the tras were active again. Rune went ahead, disabling the tile, but unable to disable the lightning blast trap. He dodged it, but as he went around the corner, a spell designed to shatter breakable objects activated, shattering the containers filled with a flammable substance should they need fire attacks and all, engulfing him in flame. He managed to get it out, but the healer was not with them, and the sorceress's, still using her witch training, wand was shattered by the spell as well. The half elf with them, that thought so ill said they should leave him, which led to Rune standing as he disarmed the razor blades. Unsure if it had worked, the half elf had the orc grab his friends body, to which Rune held a blade to both saying if they defiled her body he'd gut them both. The witch came up with a solution, which it turned out he hadn't gotten it yet, so he jammed the tool into the panel and that disabled it. When they came to a seemingly bottomless pit, Rune was forced to jump it, and disable the swinging pendulum blade. Once they were out, he finally passed out and was dragged back to the inn.
Their healer was not proficient enough, but she stabilized him while they got someone more skilled, that someone turning out to be his dad's mother who while she kept herself disguised, pointed him towards his mothers mom. While it took weeks to recover, the others went ahead with their research and all, and he was left with the witch, to which as it did not fit him, and the armor was crafted for a spell caster as much as a fighter, gave her his friends armor as a thank you for trying to help and all. Though first thing that he was back, their mission ended up being to deal with some crooked merchants. While trying to get into a backroom, the half elf managed to mess it up and cause the guards to be alerted, which instead of picking the lock led to Rune being forced to take more rapid action to search the rooms, activating a fire based trap. Not badly burned as the previous time, but left his temper hot. But the hall was good, the main thing he got out of it being his staff, a good weapon when he wants to be less lethal. Though suffice to say finding out how susceptible he was to fire twice in a row, he developed a dislike of it.
His next mission would kill two birds with one stone, it was not only where his grandmother was, but involved the men that had set his friend up as well. His group wanted to try the confronting them approach, which failed horribly, so while none of them liked it, Rune did it his way, sneaking in at night and slaying both men. The majority of the group reprimanded him that morning, at which he snapped some people were beyond saving and that they needed to wake up, proven by the fact moments later, an explosion caused by the "flower" given to the half elfs half sister exploded and took out several rooms, and injured other patrons. It was at that point that while they may not have fully agreed with his methods, started to understand his logic, as well as learning his back story when his grandmother chose to show up at the inn. Rune wasn't thrilled by her revealing it all, but as she pointed out, he needed allies and friends, not hold everyone at arms distance, especially "the cute girl that liked you before she knew it". The group spent time on loan to her to help with several problems, in which time she re-educated the sorceress, who no longer messed up her spells because for her she was now casting them right, helped the others with various skills, taught rune about how to take a partial dragon form, and gave him his signature sword. However, resting after a long day of sparring, he awoke on a new world, apparently brought their because of some war. He has no problem helping, particularly because he wishes to get back and stop the one his uncle has been waging these past few years. Though he can't help but wonder if any of the others will show up.

With the type of girl that is well, loose and good for a night he seems fine, but with any other girl? He can be somewhat awkward because he's accustomed to the opinion really meaning very little, and worries about leaving a bad impression. Though, one trait that stays regardless of how well you know him, he is somewhat paranoid, understandable when he's been hunted most of his life.

the dark - The region he was born in has trees and canopies so tall and thick almost no light gets through from the sun, and the first time he was out of it was at age 12, so his eyes aren't well acclimated to bright light.
Bloodline ability - He likes the fact that he can move much faster and all
Learning new weapons and techniques - he likes flexibility
being short - because it has it's advantages
Dislikes ►:
Being short - has it's disadvantages AND it's annoying as hell.
His uncle - killed his parents, took and uses his sister as a human weapon, and has spent the last ten years trying to kill him... what's to like?
Greedy/corrupt people - If you have excess? you should help those with none, and you shouldn't be crooked
Bright lights - He cant really see in them and fighting blind has it's limitations
Heat - he doesn't like hot climates
Fire - He doesn't like heat.. and doesn't like being on fire... or near fire.. unless he has control of it.
Bloodline ability - despite it's benefits, it has plenty of drawbacks, after all, his hair used to be brown.

Being tricked and used - yeah... as much as he has done it, he doesn't like having it done to himself.
Guns - Their loud, and (on his world forthe most part) can only fire one round before having to be reloaded, making them more a one off weapon of luck.
Weaknesses ►:
Girls - attractive girls are easily distracting, even if only for a moment if hes fighting.
Light - normal daylight is already too much for his eyes, so anything that level or higher actually causes a level of pain and makes it impossible to see normally.

Overconfidence - he's so accustomed to the enemies he fights being lower in skill and power that he underestimates opponents at first glance save for ones he doesn't know what they are or are obviously strong.
Strength - For his size, frame, and build he is quite strong, however,
there are plenty of stronger people out there.

Weapons ►: Sword - A katana style sword that Rune always carries on his back, the blade is in itself unique that in it's construction of metal is also dragon scales from Rune's grandmother, which allows him to channel ice based magic attacks through the sword.
Knives/daggers - Small, portable, easily concealed, Rune usually has about a dozen of these anywhere on his persons.
Composite re-curve short bow - A short bow Rune carries with the quiver, while being small enough to even be used on horseback and easier to maneuver with and carry, the design and construction gives it about the same range and power of a long bow.
Custom made "repeating" crossbow - A crossbow Rune constructed himself, it's rather small in size by crossbow standards, so much so most people could one hand it, though fires unusally small bolts because they are loaded in a box attached on the bottom. It's called repeating because the side has the grip for the bolt to be pulled back, which allows the spring to push the next bolt up while pulling the string back as well, making it somewhat faster in firing then hand loading and more compact then standard self loading crossbows. The drawback though is that it is actually only very good for a relatively short range, accuracy is a problem beyond about 60 feet.
Flint pistol - A pistol from his world that he has but isn't fond of using. Somewhat advanced compared to a normal flintlock pistol, as the round is more bullet shaped, the barrel has rifling, and the ammo comes in a way that requires less guess and all, its still really only a one shot weapon.
Elbow blades - A pair of blades are held much like a tonfa and are better suited for defensive fighting, usually carried with one on either side, or both at his back at the waist line.
Shocking burst staff - A staff magically charged with lightning magic, emitting a burst of electrical energy when it strikes.

History ►: Rune was the second child of Celestia and Rastlyn Ravencroft. That being said, his parent's ruled an nation known as Aerilon, and as it was a monarchy, that made him prince, and because his sister was born mute, the next in line for the throne. So for the first 6 years of his life he was raised in a castle, and while not quite waited on hand and foot (his parent's didn't believe in such treatment), was somewhat accustomed to that life style. Though, that being said, his parents and sister were slightly puzzled by him. The family had two separate bloodline abilities that acted as a shield and sword for one another and while clear Rune possessed the opposite one of his sisters, showed no real gift for the use of magic. His fathers side of the family excluded his mother alone was half elf and dragon, throwing a fireball should have been well, child's play.
But that didn't matter much, as the ability Rune inherited more boosted his physical abilities and magical abilities, but at that age save for a couple times he was made angry he couldn't use or control it. But things changed drastically before he was seven. While out visiting another country, the caravan was attacked by "bandits" and his parents killed along with their escorts. Though to no one that was alive's knowledge, his mother escaped and simply conjured a fake body to fool the attackers. But because she was in fact aware the man behind it was Rune's uncle, her husband's brother, she stayed away knowing it meant putting her kids in more danger. Those that followed him were fanatical, simply arresting him would do no good.
Given Selene could not directly speak and was still too young, and rune far from old enough, their uncle was the next in line, till Rune was old enough. He had the pair sent to a house on the outer skirts of the castles surrounding town, where Selene despite her age did her best to raise Rune. Rune of course had learned and figured out what hand signs meant what so that they could talk and understand one another, but it did mean he could more easily ignore her. But that was rare because the pair were quite close. But when Rune was 9, three men in armor broke the door in, and dragged his sister away and knocked him out. When he woke up they were long gone, but he heard more voices coming and what they said was along the lines of getting rid of him because the other person had been too weak.
He ran out of the house, and was noticed and chased till he eventually lost them. From that day on, he was pretty much unable to find a home or shelter, forced to run, hide and steal to survive. He learned things on the fly, or from others that taught him briefly. He was for the most part a sharp learner, but some things in the magic field mainly were beyond him. When he was thirteen though, he met a girl two years younger then him who was wondering around and clearly had been for a while. He had just stolen some food and offered her some, which she took of course and ate as if she hadn't eaten in days. Rune asked her name and all, but she said she couldn't remember. So he gave her a name and brought her along, teaching her what he knew and such. Four years alone he needed some company. But a few months later, they ended up surrounded by several of his uncles more rabid soldiers. At this point his uncle had been abusing his sisters powers to take over the other nations on the continent. While they got pinned there was a loud crack and next thing he knew the girl, Lilith, was bleeding from the shoulder, the group apparently having fire arms. Rune went into a rage, which brought his blood line ability to the surface. The wings that appeared, not real so much as the form the excess magic energy generated took as it exited the body so as to not burn out the person using it. That being said while it made him more then capable of fighting the group with the drastic increase in speed, strength and other such things, it required a lot of energy, and because he had no control burned through his magic energy quickly, and so because he was still using it, switched to the next available type, actual life energy. He used it so long the color of his hair became pure white, and his eyes a paler green. There was no one left to fight, but Lilith had to drag him as he passed out from the over use.
He started practicing to use it afterwords, but very brief amounts, after all it took days to recover enough energy just to wake up and get out of bed. He had no desire to become reliant on it because it was dangerous for him to use. Without a family member like his dead father, or even his aunt who was missing (who at least had the same power as his sister) to help him learn how to use it efficiently, he had no idea what his time limit rally was, before it would start draining non magic energy again. By age 16, regardless of operating in pair or alone, the two had made quite a name with their heists and escapades. Some good.. most not by the letter of the law. Rune in particular while having a style many considered flashy, particularly in fighting, he would seemingly vanish into thin air amongst a crowd. But his skills in deception, theft, fighting, and "connections" would prove useful to another. When he was seventeen, and staying with a woman who made weapons and armor, further improving his own skills which had been mostly trial and error, two soldiers came to the door knocking for him. He hid as the woman opened the door, and being the rude fool he was the first one shoved her out of the way to the floor, which ended with him on the floor as Rune flew from behind the door and kneed him in the face, quickly pinning the other shorter soldier to the wall with a blade to their throat, till it became clear the soldier was a woman, more so when it became apparent it was a misunderstanding and that the head of a temple of all people wanted to see him. He reluctantly agreed to it and followed them, though not without incident, though this one planned by the man he was going to see. While he intended to call it off at the last second if Rune failed, he wanted to make sure Rune was not simply a thief who worked for money and had some morale's and ethics and all. So he decreed one of the priestess's a heretic to be burned at the stake. When Rune found out from his escort the situation, he broke free of them and assaulted the guards dragging her to the town center, which resulted in him being surrounded but drawing his weapon. It was at this point the man decided to step in, laughing as he told the guards to lower their weapons and that they stood no chance if he fought them armed.
Learning this was a test did not build much trust for Rune in the man, but comments he made on the way puzzled him, as if he knew more. He listened to the man's proposal to the group, ignoring the disdain he received from all but one of the group, but at the same time, choosing to play into what they thought of him. Though the man made an unusual comment that it would more then likely serve all their interests, public or not, and clearly directed it at him. Out of curiosity he chose to follow up, plus the promise of lots of money. The first mission went well, minus getting knocked out by a construct that blindsided him from nowhere and probably would have killed him were he actually human. The second went even better, minus the the rage moment that terrified his comrades as he eviscerated a monster with only a pair of kukri's. However, in researching the fact they found a crossbred dragon, they found themselves in a underground trap filled labyrinth. On the way in there was no problems, the traps were disarmed. However, upon entering the room, Rune discovered and old friend dead, seemingly preserved but some small scorch marks. The group was shocked when he appeared to be looting her body, though one after an incident involving said comrades sister who was in the group, the one person in the group that didn't hate him just for being "a rogue", himself, and a lot of alcohol, thought that much worse. But he pointed out that it was a friend, and she had entrusted those items to him, and that if he suggested that again he'd kill him. However, touching a pendant she had been wearing, he caught a brief glimpse of what happened, but the fool already had the half orc grab the chest. They managed to get out without getting touched by the fire, a magic one that didn't actually burn you, but made you feel as if you were burning alive as you suffocated. It was then they noticed the pressure tile raised and that the tras were active again. Rune went ahead, disabling the tile, but unable to disable the lightning blast trap. He dodged it, but as he went around the corner, a spell designed to shatter breakable objects activated, shattering the containers filled with a flammable substance should they need fire attacks and all, engulfing him in flame. He managed to get it out, but the healer was not with them, and the sorceress's, still using her witch training, wand was shattered by the spell as well. The half elf with them, that thought so ill said they should leave him, which led to Rune standing as he disarmed the razor blades. Unsure if it had worked, the half elf had the orc grab his friends body, to which Rune held a blade to both saying if they defiled her body he'd gut them both. The witch came up with a solution, which it turned out he hadn't gotten it yet, so he jammed the tool into the panel and that disabled it. When they came to a seemingly bottomless pit, Rune was forced to jump it, and disable the swinging pendulum blade. Once they were out, he finally passed out and was dragged back to the inn.
Their healer was not proficient enough, but she stabilized him while they got someone more skilled, that someone turning out to be his dad's mother who while she kept herself disguised, pointed him towards his mothers mom. While it took weeks to recover, the others went ahead with their research and all, and he was left with the witch, to which as it did not fit him, and the armor was crafted for a spell caster as much as a fighter, gave her his friends armor as a thank you for trying to help and all. Though first thing that he was back, their mission ended up being to deal with some crooked merchants. While trying to get into a backroom, the half elf managed to mess it up and cause the guards to be alerted, which instead of picking the lock led to Rune being forced to take more rapid action to search the rooms, activating a fire based trap. Not badly burned as the previous time, but left his temper hot. But the hall was good, the main thing he got out of it being his staff, a good weapon when he wants to be less lethal. Though suffice to say finding out how susceptible he was to fire twice in a row, he developed a dislike of it.
His next mission would kill two birds with one stone, it was not only where his grandmother was, but involved the men that had set his friend up as well. His group wanted to try the confronting them approach, which failed horribly, so while none of them liked it, Rune did it his way, sneaking in at night and slaying both men. The majority of the group reprimanded him that morning, at which he snapped some people were beyond saving and that they needed to wake up, proven by the fact moments later, an explosion caused by the "flower" given to the half elfs half sister exploded and took out several rooms, and injured other patrons. It was at that point that while they may not have fully agreed with his methods, started to understand his logic, as well as learning his back story when his grandmother chose to show up at the inn. Rune wasn't thrilled by her revealing it all, but as she pointed out, he needed allies and friends, not hold everyone at arms distance, especially "the cute girl that liked you before she knew it". The group spent time on loan to her to help with several problems, in which time she re-educated the sorceress, who no longer messed up her spells because for her she was now casting them right, helped the others with various skills, taught rune about how to take a partial dragon form, and gave him his signature sword. However, resting after a long day of sparring, he awoke on a new world, apparently brought their because of some war. He has no problem helping, particularly because he wishes to get back and stop the one his uncle has been waging these past few years. Though he can't help but wonder if any of the others will show up.
