The times have changed, but friends remain My heart and soul's with you Cause one thing's for sure, i always swore, I'd never turn my back on you Slowly brown eyes flickered open, vision blurry, head hurting, brows furrowed in slight disorientation, confusion and some frustration yet not a sound escaped the figure. Slowly the young woman sat up, a light groan coming from her as she pressed a gloved hand to her forehead. "This headache is awful... What happened?" The words came from her but they were quiet and now her eyes were adjusting properly to the lighting in the area around her. She could finally see properly. Her first instinct was to stand up, her rod, whale whisker was close by so she picked that up and she held it close to herself. On a first glance, she came to the conclusion she was alone. Utterly. Alone. On her own. "No you're not alone. They have to be around here somewhere, it can't just be me." She mumbled as she slowly started walking, the gentle clicking of her boots on the ground echoed in the alleyway she'd ended up. She didn't bother brushing herself down. She didn't bother tidying herself up. If this had been before she'd met him then perhaps it would be different. She might panic. She might've started getting extremely upset but now? Not a chance. She'd grown so much during that journey. All thanks to him. "I really hope you're all right..." She commented looking at the darkening skies above her. It was already getting dark here, wherever here was and she needed to find a place to stay. A tent would be nice right now. Taking a deep breath she made her way out in to the streets. Oddly enough the streets despite it getting dark outside were bustling with life. She blinked. It almost reminded her of Treno to be honest. The lights flickering on and people still quite content to wander around. Shops and places still open for business and the many different types of people wandering. The only difference was that everyone here, they all looked as if they were of the same class, there were no nobles running around or any people wearing rags. Slowly she wandered along with the crowds, silence and motion. She didn't want to attract too much attention after all, because she might, as she was well aware, attract the wrong sort of attention and when she didn't really have many offensive spells to defend herself and she wasn't exactly physically strong she'd have hard time fighting to get away. As she passed windows she took a good look at the items on sale and even stopped at a weapons and armor shop. "Well if Zidane was here he'd have somewhere to possibly upgrade his weaponry..." She frowned at that statement. If. Meaning he wasn't here. Not really a surprise when he got snatched from her for some reason or another and she went off scouring the world for him to no avail. A rather, somber expression now plagued her features. She missed him. A sigh as she forced a smile, she couldn't give up even if she was in this new place, that she didn't know the name of. No. She was tougher than that now. She wasn't just a sheltered little girl anymore. She had brains. She'd be able to learn and understand what was going on around her and then something caught her eye. A rather gaudy looking information board with a lot of lights on it. Making her way over she read it and attempted to memorize the information. A dragon. Shinryu. End of existence. Gods fighting the dragon. People needed to help. She could help... Correct? She wasn't that sure of herself but she was a summoner, a healer, white mage. She gave a small smile, surely they'd need a healer on their side. Then again what about Alexandria, she needed to go home. Needed to let people know what was going on. Then again if she did and she couldn't get back here she'd be stuck there knowing that the end of the universe was coming and that she couldn't do anything about it anymore. "War means people are going to get hurt... I... I'll stay and fight... This isn't about me, it's about my people, my world, about everyone even in this world, Zidane. I guess it's my turn to save you now. Even if you never know." A light smile came to her face and she nodded. She would help if she could and if she was needed. Even if it cost her greatly. Then again she never was a selfish person. So what now? What was she supposed to do? How did she contact these 'Gods'? Perhaps someone would give her a shove in the right direction. Notes: ♥ |
