Caligo was bored. Today was a rather dry day where nothing particularly exciting had happened and she had little actual work to do. She tried all the conventional ways to keep herself entertained and none worked so Caligo decided today she would "interact" with the common people the best way she knew how, scaring the shit out of them!
She wandered the streets with a rather unnaturally wide grin stretched across her face. She glared at people as they passed by causing people to cross the street to avoid her, women to hold their children close as they walked passed and some people to actually vocalize fear. From time to time she would disappear in front of someone and reappear in their shadow and grab their shoulder. More often than not she would cause them to scream in terror. In some cases people even turned around and punched her face. In response to this She would often exaggerate the "damage" and twist her face into that of a horrid mutation. At this even those brave enough to strike her usually turned and ran.
Omphalos.. a peaceful sanctum for most. The archaic buildings defined the setting and only amplified it's beauty to those seeking it. Walking in the middle of it all was Ganondorf, the King of Evil. "Fate has given me another chance, hm?" Whispered the Evil King as he strolled through the town. "What a petty town, the people blinded by ignorance and confusion." It was no surprise to Ganondorf that he was taken from his own world and brought to another. He knew the situation far too well. Master Hand would hold the Smash tournaments annually and while reluctantly serving under him, he would do battles with the other 'champions.' After the Brawl tournament he could care less on what to expect when he was dragged out of his world. "That insignificant whelp Taboo could not compare to the King of Evil." If he was here to serve another he would have to find his new ..'master.' Oh how he loathed considering anyone else that title. But if he were to rule in another world, such as the one he was on now, he would have to work closely with those who knew the world. Only then he would be able to snatch it away and reclaim it as rightfully his.
However Ganondorf wouldn't make the mistake of underestimating the one who called upon him. One too many times he had done that with both Link and Taboo. There would be a moment for him to strike, but that would not be for awhile. Ganondorf would have to carefully plan his coup d'etat. If the one who summoned him considered him as an equal, that might be more bearable. Though ruling with someone was not as rewarding as ruling all. Suddenly Ganondorf heard screams as he walked through the town. He didn't stop to look or listen, it didn't phase him at all. Why would he care of the inhabitants of this new world? Very soon they would be enslaved. Only then Ganondorf would find a way to bring his people over to this new world and give them the land they deserve. It seemed that fate wanted him to stop for the screams as he saw what the cause was unfold in front of his very eyes. A female figure was stepping from the shadows and terrorizing these people. Ganondorf saw as her appearance become mangled and thus making the others run.
This is no concern of mine, however her power interests me. Perhaps she is another traveling this overly peaceful world, dragged from her own home. Approaching the woman he started to speak, his cape sailing softly behind him in the calm breeze. "There must be much more to do here than scaring the townsfolk, hm?" He stopped walking within a reasonable distance. "You could use your power to do much more than giving people the chills." Ganondorf lifted his hand and clenched his fingers into a fist. "Channeling your inner power can make even make students surpass their masters and spread a rule across a thousand millennium. Even Gods will fall." Releasing his grasp he lowered his hand and smirked towards this female. She could be of use. Recruiting others to his cause would be very helpful. Once their usefulness has lived out, then he would be rid of them.
Caligo heard the man approach her and stopped what she was doing. She listened carefully to what he had to say, never turning to face him. She didn't need to. She thought about how best to reply for a short moment. A grin stretched across Caligo's face that seemed to stretch unusually wide. She didn't turn to him still but she quietly replied.
"Gods falling?...... Why would I want such a silly thing to happen hm?" She said. Her body seemed to tremble some possibly even twitch. Ganondorf's ambition annoyed her. She didn't like it when mortals got the idea in their heads that they were going to destroy the gods because quite frankly without the gods the universe would become a chaotic mess that no body would want to live in. The whole idea of it was quite stupid.
Caligo paused for a moment before doing anything more. Then the twitching and trembling grew more rapid and her body seemed to expand a bit dripping black shadowy ooze. She slowly turned just her torso around. The action accompanied by sickening pops and snaps as if her spine was breaking. As she turned many appendages started sprouting from her body all moving as if to grab at ganondorf. By the time she fully faced him she barely even looked human and this was only a small part of her true form. She spread her many limbs as if gesturing to some part of herself that was both everywhere and nowhere. I AM THE GODDESS OF DARKNESS" she bellowed so loud that the ground seemed to shake.
The woman did not turn around to greet him. It wasn't too odd of a behavior, though it was uncommon. However it wasn't before long that she started to twist and change shape, saying something against Ganondorf's will against the gods. The once woman then turned into a monster, was she trying to intimidate him? If so she wasn't doing a good job. Ganondorf didn't even flinch once from the oncoming "attack," in fact he actually smirked at the attempted ploy by this person. A great voice came from the monstrous witch and it boomed across the land. His cape blew backwards from the wind as did his hair, however the smirk did not leave his face. Once she finished stating that she was the God of Darkness, Ganondorf couldn't help by laugh directly at her. His laugh was at the poor attempt to scare him and the fact that this woman, or thing, was considered a Goddess. I've seen far more foul and disgusting creatures from my own world. Thought the great King of Evil. He then stopped laughing and dropped to one knee, bowing to the Goddess. "Forgive my laughter, Goddes of Darkness. It has been awhile since I've met a being with such power." After he said that he quickly thought, If I am to manipulate her like the others, I'm going to have to play up to this 'god'.
After bowing for a couple second he stood up and looked at the goddess. "You are but one god, no?" Questioned Ganondorf. "Then there must be other gods, ones that oppress you, ones that do not have your ideals? If so, those gods deserve to fall. They are foolish to try to stand in your way." He wasn't groveling or acting like a suck up, but he was trying to give the goddess a sense of inspiration. "We all have our purpose, it's why I was brought to this realm is it not?" Still unsure of who summoned, he tested the waters by asking the goddess with a double-ended question. "I can assure you that many will fall. Those who refuse to join our own cause will perish like the rest." His glance caught attention of the bystanders that were scared to the point of being a statue. The dark gaze looked deep into their eyes as he relished in their fear. "And for those who fear us.." Once again he looked at the goddess, now with another smirk on his face. "..give us exactly what we want."
