Just because I'm losing
Doesn't mean I'm lost, Doesn't mean I'll stop, Doesn't mean I'm in a cross. Just because I'm hurting, Doesn't mean I'm hurt, Doesn't mean I didn't get what I deserve, No better and no worse. I just got lost, Every river that I've tried to cross, And every door I ever tried was locked, Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off... - >>Cold Play<<
Eyes closed, she could feel and hear the wind whipping past her ears, her hair shifting and flitting around her face. A sense of grogginess, slowly her eyelids lifted, forcing themselves apart. She'd been having a good dream...
She was at home, all monsters had been gotten rid of finally. Her son was just turning eleven and everyone was happy. For the first time, they could all truly relax and not have to fight for their very lives every-single-day.
Sadly her dream... Wasn't real.
Lips parted.
"Al-eck?" Nothing, her head snapped around.
"ALECK!!!" The name was practically screamed as she finally realized that she was falling from... Somewhere. Her eyes tried to calculate the distance she was falling but she couldn't keep up so as she fell towards a large... Flower? She crossed her arms across her face and she tried not to tense up too much or she might break something.
She bounced. Flipping off the flower and springing backwards before she hit a tree. Again she bounced and this continued back and forth until eventually she hit the ground. Slowly she got to her feet, staggering, she felt sick, dizzy... Tired. Even though she'd only just gotten here, to this strange place, maybe she was going insane? Maybe this was what the after life was like?
She didn't dwell on those thoughts for long, luckily her SCAR didn't land too far away and her pistol was still in it's holster. Her pepper spray was on her hip as well so that proved useful.
"HELLO?!" Now came the search. She knew some how, she felt it, no one she knew was near by, she'd have seen them from above if they were. She felt the tears brimming in her eyes, her eyes stinging. She'd... Lost them. She was all... Alone. The thing is, she wasn't upset because of that, she was upset because somewhere, if her baby boy wasn't here with her? He may be on his own and looking at this place, he might be afraid and lost. Her hand rested over her heart, even though the tears were there threatening to leak down her face she held them back.
She didn't have time to start bawling like a child. Not when she now had someone to find.
Please... Please God let him be safe... Please... She thought to herself as she rushed and snatched the assault rifle from the ground and then she was off. Charging through the forest of strange and obscure plant life. She kept looking around as she went that was until she ran head first in to something rather solid, felt almost like she'd run in to a person and she was sent sprawling backwards and on sheer reflex she flicked the safety off and fired a three round burst at the feet of the supposed assailant.
"STAY BACK! DON'T YOU DARE COME ANY CLOSER OR I'LL UNLOAD THIS ENTIRE MAGAZINE IN TO YOU!!" She snarled, stress levels were ultimately at the roof for her and a now cold yet flaming gaze lay on the figure. She hesitated for a moment but she didn't move the muzzle of the weapon away from their direction. She kept it trained on the stranger.
"I'm going to ask you some questions now, if I find out you're lying... Let's just say you'll be sorry." So now it began. The question game. She needed answers and this person was the only thing around save for the forest in this place at the current time. Slowly she got to her feet, again her eyes and the dangerous end of the assault rifle she held didn't move away from the person, not even for a split second.
"Let's start shall we? It'd be awful nice if you could answer my questions in order. What is this place? How do I get out of here? Have you seen a woman that looks like me with slightly longer hair? Or a young man around the same age as me?... H.." This was where her facial expression contorted in to a mixture of pain and possibly anger.
"Have you seen a little boy... Around eight?.. He looks a little bit older than he is... Brown hair... Big brown eyes... Carries a handgun... Wears red most of the time... He's very friendly... He's also... My son." Her voice trailed off slightly and she let out a sigh. She wasn't giving up hope, that was easy to see but she didn't like standing around here chatting when she had family to find. If she could find them.
"If you answer my questions... Feel free to ask some of your own..." The blonde stated. It was only fair plus she didn't really want innocent blood on her hands.
