Roxas walked through the streets with his hands in his pockets. He was trying to make sense of everything still. Besides his ability to fight and use magic he wasn't sure why the gods would separate him from Sora. Especially with Sora already being here and part of the fight. According to Riku being a keybearer had little to no meaning here. Something that he couldn't honestly say he was surprised by with the information he had managed to gather while walking around. "And on top of that more and more people just keep showing up. Though that's probably a good thing."
He turned down one of the side streets that he hadn't gotten a chance to explore quite yet. His mind wandered to what Axel could be up to now. He was almost certain that Axel probably died but if he could be here then why couldn't Axel? If he was here though Roxas had yet to run into him. Though like he had told Riku it was highly likely that with him here the others would show up too. It would just be a matter of when and how. He chuckled a bit having a feeling of what Axel's reaction would be upon seeing him.
He stopped when he found himself standing infront of an ice cream shop. He sighed as he realized that he didn't have any money to buy any. "Well looks like I should find a job. Hm I wonder what there is that I could do around here." With that thought in mind he set off to see what kind of jobs were offered around here.
Xion pulled the black hood over her head, hiding her face from view. Memories from her moments in the organization brought to the surface by one action. One simple flip of the hand or hood in this case. The nobody barely spoke to anyone, her words only came in whispers if someone asked her something. Hard enough for her to speak up around all the random people showing up. If she wasn't wandering the town Xion sat in the window of her room watching people walk past. As she would usually be doing right now, however she had forced herself to leave that comfort of her room. '..Just a few steps. Down the stairs and out the door. It can't hurt.' Oh it could, so much if she let the wrong person in.
No one she knew had been found, Not Roxas. Not Axel. Not even the Organization members who betrayed her and wished to kill the girl. Why did so many people want to control her fate? Being brought back gave Xion another chance to do the things she wished to do, and find her friends. Stepping back to avoid running into a complete stranger Xion moved quickly down a side street. Flinching away from strangers had become a typical thing for the nobody's empty existence. All her friends were gone, or back at the castle playing games. Doing missions, the things she took for granted that she didn't have now. So what if people had strong hatred of Xion then, or wanted her for selfish purposes.
She stopped walking only to look up and let the hood pool around her neck. The ice cream shop. Xion hadn't had any ice cream since she went with Axel and Roxas just before things took a bad turn. Digging into the pocket she added to her cloak Xion pulled out what little money she had. Maybe some ice cream could calm her already on edge nerves. Wouldn't be surprising for the shy nobody. "..." No words Xion only watched them, then looked down when the worker glanced into her eyes. She shook her head and stumbled away, barely missing Roxas. The hood down her blue eyes gazed straight into his. 'R..roxas...?' No words passed her lips as she tried to regain her balance.
She finally found someone but couldn't speak up, the words just didn't want to come out.
Roxas stared at the girl in front of him in confusion. It was odd she looked a lot like a female version of Sora but with different colored hair. With the look she wore it seemed like she knew him. But he'd remember if he had met someone like this before wouldn't he? He frowned as he continued to look at her more confused now then he could ever remember being. "Um do I know you from somewhere?" It was at that point that he noticed the organization cloak. "You're a nobody? But I don't remember ever seeing you with the others in the Organization."
He frowns not sure whether he should be angry to see someone with that cloak or just confused. After all the only female member he had ever seen at the Organization was Larxene and she wasn't a nice person. Especially not to him. If she was here he'd be running from lightning bolts. Not to mention that Larxene had blonde hair and was older then him. This girl however had black hair and seemed to be the same age or younger then him. Not only that she looked way to much like Sora for it to be a coincidence.
"This is a little weird. You look like Sora yet I know you're not him for a couple of reasons." He frowns while staring at the girl and summons his keyblade Two Becomes One. He holds it out towards Xion. "Here I want to test a theory I have."
Xion blinked looking away from him, Roxas didn't seem to know her. He wasn't acting as she usually thought he would. How weird was that? The girl shoved those thoughts into the back of her mind trying to hide the nervous expression. That look on the girl's face faded quickly at his words. So she had been right. Of course her memory had been erased from everyone when she died before. When Roxas had taken her life with his own hands because she tried to attack the blond. She refused to meet his gaze, looking anywhere but directly at him.
A few times her eyes would meet his then Xion would turn her head quickly the other direction. Silence really was awkward in general but this made it ten times worse. Silence with someone she knew but he didn't know her. Trying to push the positive thoughts of starting over back into her head only worked so well. Xion still had no heart, no one who knew her yet she held memories of most of them. Some good, some bad but life had that ability sometimes. It just couldn't be called fair. Xion's fingers dug into her gloves that covered her hands. "...no." One word, she claimed he didn't know her. Did she feel pain by saying that? Maybe a tiny bit.
Xion shook her head placing her gloved hands on either side of the hood. Part of her wanted to pull it up and block everything out. But Roxas already knew what she looked like, by complete accident he had already seen her face. Fingers gently touching the black bangs that hung in her face as she tried to distract herself from Roxas. Anything she heard sounded so far away, or as if he was speaking in a whisper. "...Sora? " It was all an act...pretending she didn't know that person. That she didn't know Roxas, Axel the rest of the organization.
"N...no I can't." Her words nothing more then a whisper as she looked at the keyblade, her hands resting firm at her side. She wouldn't reach out to it. Or touch it, what did he want from her. Xion stood frozen where her thoughts screamed run the other direction, don't let him discover anything. Roxas wasn't really free from the past even without memories of her, she knew that much.
"...no." There seemed to be conviction in that statement yet Roxas noticed something else. It seemed like she was angry with herself, or conflicted that she said that. At least that's how her body language seemed. "...Sora? " that time it seemed to definitely be genuine confusion.
"Sorry then.. I guess it seems odd that I'm talking about things like this to a complete stranger." He wasn't sure why but he could have sworn he felt a bit of pain when he mentioned the girl in front of him was a stranger."N...no I can't." That was odd she seemed to be afraid of touching the keyblade. But how could that be?
"Have you seen a Keyblade before? You seem to recognize what it is... But if you don't know who Sora is and claim not to know me how have you seen a keyblade before? He cocks his head to the side looking at her in confusion as he continues to hold the keyblade out to her.
Part of him was quite suspicious of the way she was acting but he didn't wish to make an enemy out of someone he had just met. Or if he had met her before and somehow had no memories of her and she was a friend he really didn't want to make an enemy out of her. "Hm lets see. If it's not me or Sora who you've seen with a Keyblade before then have you met Riku by chance?"
Yes Xion barely spoke, her words were quiet even when she did. Couldn't blame here when she happened to be around him. Roxas no longer knew her. Just as no one else basically would. But she had long since accepted that fate, when she made the decision to die that way. Conflicted would be the right words for it as she glanced at the keyblade. Could she touch it? That was his weapon not hers. She had her keyblade with her, even if it hadn't been brought out yet. Not since she arrived in this place of course. How had he managed to get here? The events of the past were not free from her mind as they were from everyone else's.
"I guess." Xion whispered and could only nod , looking down at her feet. The cloak hanging over her shoulders was the only thing that connected them now. Even if he no longer remembered who she was. Biting her lip she tried to keep from shaking Roxas, that would be out of character for her. She had made her choice and they still didn't remember her. So they probably never would. Not something she could force on them, nor would the shy nobody try to do so. Glancing at the keyblade part of her wished to reach out to touch it yet she refused. Xion didn't need to expose herself.
Not to anything. It wasn't easy for the girl. She barely spoke to Roxas when she first arrived. And then now she couldn't even do that either. Did it matter what she was thinking? To them she was just some stranger now with the power to wield a normal keyblade like Sora's. Xion only seemed to nod keeping her hands folded. "something like that." She didn't flat out admit she had one. The girl had seen one, that would be simple enough right? It wasn't as if heartless would appear out here for the girl and Roxas to fight again.
Xion didn't know what to say. She tried not to react to Riku but the fight from before only made her think about him more. Probably not helping her trying to ignore the mention of Riku. "Riku is probably the one I saw." She went out of the way to say she had without actually saying she did. It was a probably. Not a yes, not a no. Riku wouldn't know her either so it would prove pointless to ask him.
