General Personality ►:  "There's a monster inside all of us." ~ Luminous
   
    Luminous's personality is entirely dependent upon which of his Ego's is currently in control of him. Luminous himself is a rather kind individual who bears no malice towards any living creature that is good-willed. He frequents most of his time by reading and having friendly conversations with his peers. He has a bad habit of being unintentionally serious-looking, which is often misleading of his true intentions. It was due to his heroic figure at the time, that he was called upon to help defend the world from the evils of the Black Mage. However, before the final blow was struck on the Black Mage, some of his essence seeped into Luminous's own soul, causing him to crave widespread destruction and have a insatiable desire for chaos. Because of such a rapid change in his soul, he developed Dissociative identity disorder. 
    When this other personality takes over, it introduces itself as Eclipse. Eclipse calls himself the "true form." of Luminous, and speaks in not only a different voice tone, but his malignant presence changes the very physical form of Luminous himself. Eclipse is a psychotic madman, craving nothing but the utter and total destruction of every sentient being in the world as he considers everything but himself "Loathsome Insects." He's incredibly haughty and lacks even the smallest pinch of morality. During these episodes, Luminous is unconscious, but actively fighting Eclipse in a war for his mind. He has no recollection of the events that take place, and will only remember the events if Eclipse sees it fit to relinquish the memories to Luminous.
    It is possible for Luminous and Eclipse to work in conjunction to increase his fighting prowess, but since Luminous and Eclipse are at such a standoff with each other, it's inconceivable that the two would ever work together.

History ►:
    Luminous was one of the legendary heroes tasked with defeating the Black Mage over 300 years ago. Him, along with the other heroes successfully sealed off the Black Mage, but at a major cost: They were all frozen in ice as a curse. Before the end of the battle, Luminous successfully set up a seal that would seal the Black Mage for an eternity. However, as he dealt the final blow, some of the Black Mage's malevolent power seeped into his soul, and as the Black Mages final curse against the heroes, he was locked for 300 years in an icy prison while it festered in him. 300 Years later, Luminous finds himself awake in an unfamiliar location, Omphalos. Somethings not right though, not only is he not home, he feels something deep inside him that's struggling to get out.
    Where will fate take him? Can he plea to the gods for help in this situation?
