»»TIA ORORU«« Age: 16 Gender: Female Canon or OC?: OC Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Race: Human Group: Life Face Claim: Saten Ruiko - To Aru Majutsu no Index »»APPEARANCE«« She has a rather nasty scar running from the right side of her hips diagonally and up to just beneath the left side of her bosom. »»PERSONALITY«« Tia is a person who is usually gentle, caring and complex. She seems to know things intuitively, without being able to pinpoint why, and without detailed knowledge of the subject at hand. She's often right, and she usually knows it. People may see some signs of disarray in an otherwise orderly tendency, such as a consistently messy desk/room or other things. She seems to have uncanny insight into people and situations. She gets "feelings" about things. As an extreme example, she's had a bad feeling about a loved one the feelings being about there being a problem, and discovering later that the loved one she was getting feelings about were in some sort of accident. This is the sort of thing that others may scorn and scoff at, and she herself does not really understand her intuition at a level which can be verbalized. Consequently, she's rather protective of her inner selfs, sharing only what she chooses to share when she chooses to share it. She's a deep, complex individual, who's quite private and typically difficult to understand. To those who actually manage to get a little closer to her, they might notice that she holds back part of herself, and can be secretive. Tia is as genuinely warm as she is complex. She's concerned for people's feelings, and tries to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. Though she may have huge outbursts when someone is belittling themselves or thinking they're not good enough when she can see different. She finds it physically painful to watch someone beat up on themselves and it might actually push her to the point of tears if she cares deeply for the person in question. Generally speaking she's very sensitive to conflict, and cannot tolerate it very well. Situations which are charged with conflict may drive the normally peaceful Tia into a state of agitation or charged anger. This ends with her blowing off steam by yelling and sometimes lashing out. She tends to trust her own instincts above all else. This may result in stuborness and a tendency to ignore other people's opinions. She tends to believe that she's right though she will listen to criticism and if proven wrong she'll conceed. On the other hand, Tia is a perfectionist who doubts that she's living up to her full potential. She's rarely at complete peace with herself - there's always something else she should be doing to improve herself and the world around her. She believes in constant growth, and doesn't often take time to revel in her accomplishments. She has a strong value system, and need to live her life in accordance with what she feels is right. In deference to the Feeling aspect of her personality, Tia is in some ways gentle and easy going. Conversely, she has very high expectations of herself. LIKES • Horror Movies • Sailing • Computer games (especially those of the horror genre) • Baseball bats • Fairy tales • Castles • This new place DISLIKES • Fear... • Not being able to defend herself. • Losing during games though she isn't a sore loser unless she becomes competitive. • When it's too hot outside (yes this includes humid areas like the desert etc). • Pointless cruelty. • People talking about killing themselves. • People berating themselves or beating themselves up. »»WARFARE«« Weaknesses: • Blind Decreases a targets accuracy by a quarter for three turns/posts. - Weakness - The user cannot use this again for a full four posts/turns. (Must have the rpers permission) +50% higher chance of hitting her. • Poison Poisons a single target/enemy, the target loses a small amount of their health over 4 posts/turns. +20% extra damage to her. • Wound Lowers a single targets/enemies health four three turns/posts. - Weakness - It also lowers the casters health. +50% higher chance of hitting her. • Oil Covers a single target in oil so that they take more damage (double damage) from fire spells. +50% higher chance of hitting her. • Silence Stops a single target/enemy from casting spells for two turns/posts. This does not effect physical attacks. - Weakness - Cannot be used in conjunction with Physical Weakness. +50% higher chance of hitting her. • Fire Normal/Minor fire damage to a target sends fire balls at the target. +5% extra damage. • Fira Moderate/Medium fire damage to all targets/enemies sends fire balls at the targets. +10% extra damage. • Firaga High/Heavy fire damage to all targets/enemies, fire converges on the enemies. +15% extra damage. • Scorch Very High fire damage to a single target/enemy, fire rises from beneath the enemy. +20% extra damage. • Inferno Very High fire damage to ALL targets/enemies, fire rises from beneath the enemy. +25% extra damage. • Hell Fire Very Very High fire damage to all targets/enemies, fire converges on the enemy, this has a 1 post charge up and can be interrupted. +25% extra damage. • Holy Normal/Minor light damage to a target a single bolt of light hits the target. +5% extra damage. • Faith Moderate/Medium light damage to all targets a pillar of light hits each target. +10% extra damage. • Pearl High/Heavy light damage to all targets pillars of light come up through the floor and then converge on the targets. +15% extra damage. • Sacrosanct Very High light damage to a single enemy, balls of light converge on the target. +20% extra damage. • Elysian Very High light damage to all targets/enemies, a rapid succession of white and gold waves blast out across the area consuming all enemies within. +25% extra damage. • Rapture Very Very High light damage to all enemies/targets, a rapid succession of white and gold waves blast out across the area consuming all enemies within. This has a 1 post charge up and can be interrupted. +25% extra damage. • Quake Normal/Minor Earth damage to a target a small blast of rocks and dirt hit the target. +5% extra damage. • Seism Moderate/Medium Earth damage to all targets a small blast of rocks and dirt hit the targets. +10% extra damage. • Tremor High/Heavy Earth damage to all targets a Rocks jut out of the ground beneath the targets causing damage. +15% extra damage. • Terrene Very High earth damage to a single target. Drops rocks and clay on the enemy. +20% extra damage. • Kaolin Very High earth damage to all enemies/targets. Drops rocks and clay on the enemies. +25% extra damage • Avalanche/Landslide Very Very High earth damage to all enemies/targets, causes an avalanche or landslide depending on the terrain which hits all enemies from behind. This has a 1 post charge up and can be interrupted. +25% extra damage. Abilities: • Heat (Passive) The ability to rapidly learn dormant spells/abilities during the heat of battle, when the spell/ability is needed. • What has been seen (Passive) The ability to copy a single ability (any type of ability regardless of her own weaknesses) from someone upon seeing it (with rpers permission) it's permanently added to her ability list. If she wants to learn something new from the same character she will have to forget or discard the old ability she learned from them. • Armored Tia turns in to armor to protect an ally. During this all attacking abilities/spells are locked and she cannot use them. The wearer of Tia is invincible against physical and magical attacks while she's being worn. However the armor cannot be removed until Tia is KO'd. All magical and physical attacks are 50% more effective on Tia during Armored and all damage goes directly to her HP until she has no more HP left and she's KO'd. One of three armors for females. and one of three armors for males Black Blue Red • Crescendo (Passive) Each turn that Tia is on the battle field she gains what's known as a counter. It will stack till the count reaches five. Once the count reaches five all enemies take Tias current HP as damage. This is not active during Armored and will be used once per battle. If she is knocked out or killed before this takes effect it will no longer be active and cannot be used. This will happen TWICE during boss monster battles. To be Unlocked during:- Heat. • Cure Heals minor/normal wounds/damage but can only target one person. Heals moderate/medium wounds/damage but can only target one person. Heals major/heavy wounds/damage and can target a group of people. Heals minor/normal wounds/damage for a single target over a period of time. Heals all status aliments *burn, freeze etc* for one ally. Can revive a person/character from the dead with 25% HP. Revives a person/character from KO status with 25% HP. Revives a person/character from KO status with 50% HP. Allows a single target to use two skills/spells and/or move one extra square in the BG in a single turn. Lasts for two turns/posts. Lowers physical damage taken by a single target for three turns/posts. Cuts damage by a quarter. - Weakness - Caster takes a quarter more damage from attacks if they haven't used protect on themselves for three turns/posts. Increases a single targets physical damage by a quarter for three turns/posts. - Weakness - Lowers the casters physical damage by a quarter if they haven't used Bravery on themselves for three turns/posts. Decreases magic damage by a quarter for three turns/posts, for a single target. Bounces ALL spells back at the enemy three turns/posts, for a single target. Normal/Minor ice damage to a target sends shards of ice at a target. Normal/Minor wind damage to a target sends bladed gusts of wind at a target. • Thunder Normal/Minor lightning/thunder damage to a target a single bolt of lightning hits the target. Normal/Minor dark damage to a target a single ball of darkness hits the target. Normal/Minor water damage to a target a single jet of water hits the target. Weapons: • N/A »»ITEMS«« • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • »»HISTORY«« Tia had a fairly regular life when she was young. She grew up with her mother, father and older brother and they were actually a regular family, happy but with their disagreements like most families have. She attended schools in three different parts of her city because her parents wanted the best school for her. In the end she ended up at a mixed gender boarding school. She didn't actually mind it there. She's been there since she was twelve. Each year she'd take a train ride home with three friends from her year group to go and see her family since all four of the girls came from the same area they could hang out with each other. One year... Something went wrong. Apparently one of the rails came slightly loose and because of that the train crashed. In doing so some of the train cars ended up a little crumpled and some of the passengers ended up impaled or worse. She was one of the lucky ones. She got stuck between parts of the car and had some of the metal cut in to her. Instead of being impaled. However, one of her friends.... Wasn't so lucky. They were right beside her stuck with a pole through them asking for help and Tia couldn't move because she was wedged she did try but eventually she lost enough blood to knock her unconscious. She won't ever forget the things she saw that day in the train wreck. Most people were just injuries but out of a train populated by eight hundred passengers fifty of them died. One of those being her friend that was impaled. She woke up in a hospital after having been in a coma for a week and also having surgery to remove bits of metal from her innards. This left an extremely painful and nasty wound and she was to be kept on watch while she healed. She was told the status of her friends; she learned that one of them was dead and the memories flooded back and she broke down. She couldn't control herself at all and even tore open her own stitches. She fully blamed herself for that persons death and she couldn't handle the fact that she might've been able to help if she had just tried harder. There wasn't any way she could've helped the other person the pole went right through their spine. Three years later and she's had counseling. She's over it for the most part but sometimes because of that when she hears someone berate themselves or talk about killing themselves, she goes off the rails and yells at them. It's something that she's working on. She didn't pass her tests this year and so she's been kept back a year. However she's been torn away from her home and planted here. In this new place Omphalos. She's already run in to a cannibal, hopefully she can make new friends that... Don't... Want to turn her in to a tasty meal.
