An arena in the sky, it's been left there for an extremely long time, the arena does sway back and forth as if it's held up by wires or something else but it moves with attacks and the shifting weight of the people battling upon it making it hard to run on. Up here you'll need to be quick on your feet to avoid slipping off the arena floor. There's also the occasional gust of wind that's at gale force and will push ALL combatants around. (Every five posts you should be pushed back and away from your target.)
Rules:- • Being pushed off the arena floor and falling will count as a loss and the match will end. • No stats. • No upgrades. • No godmodding. • 48 hours to post, if you don't post in 48 hours you will be penalized and lose points. • Post after the time limit three times and you'll automatically forfeit. • If you dodge a lot of attacks and it doesn't seem possible or feasible then you WILL be penalized for it and you will LOSE win points. • Do not say that you definitely hit, this will lose you points. Instead state that you 'attempted' to hit rather than dictating that it's a definite blow. • Do not try doing a ton of things in one turn. If you use a couple of spells or skills then that is your turn used up, you may defend, dodge and counter during the same turn though. • The more fluid you are with your attacks and movements the more points you gain. Even if you lose the fight you may win based on points.
Easy come, easy go. That's just how you live, oh. Take, take, take it all. But you never give.

After arriving at the arena via teleportation, Zidane stepped off, taking small steps down one of the many ramped platforms, metallic shoes clicking against the arena's flooring. Blue hues peered about left and right, noting that his opponent hasn't entered yet. This tournament was just perfect for putting his skills to the test; it also made for bragging rights for the ladies--Dagger especially--the opportunity was too good to pass up! It was gonna be fun and above all else, a perfect way to shirk his mind off the many concerns that has plagued his mind as of late.
It was only after a few additional steps that the blonde felt the slight sway of the stage...like a pendulum almost. The paneling of the floor had a sleek finish to it which would suggest the simplicity of slipping…large gusts of wind whistled through the air, its intensity throwing the genome’s already disheveled hair into further disarray. One look to the side suggested it would be a long fall to the bottom…something that he didn’t want. Withdrawing the Mage Mashers from either side of their respective sheath, he kept himself square in the middle of the ring, tail swaying with the gales as he waited for his opponent to show. The grin on his face would no doubt speak wonders to the person whom Zidane was sure would make his or her appearance soon.

There wasn't much call for this to her, however she had noticed that it was needing one last person to get started, and thus she joined as to make sure all of the others that had joined didn't get disappointed by it being canceled. And it might work to her favor in terms of her work. She would be able to scout at least this one person that she would be facing first. And that would be a good thing in the long run. If she made it past the first round she could scout the next person and so on. Though once she arrived, the choice of arena that they were presented with made her tilt her head ever so slightly. She walked, with a slow and collected manner onto the arena floor where the other person had already arrived. As the floor shifted with her steps she looked around for a moment, taking in this fact and the wind that was howling around them from time to time.
Noticing the fact that they already had weapons drawn, she drew her own on her way to the center, pressing the trigger a couple of times, the spell shell that was a dull red color was loaded into the chamber like area of the blade, causing it to start to glow that same dull red color. The wind was causing her hair and dress to dance around as she looked at the person before her. "May the fight prove to be good and fair...Shall we proceed and get...started with it then?" She had noticed that he hadn't really done much, and she wouldn't be one to attack someone that hadn't made a move yet, she was simply making sure he was ready before everything truly got started. She spun the blade around a bit, causing a red flash of light to follow behind it, and then she took a combat stance to show that she was ready. So now...Things could truly begin.

The genome’s ears perked up when hearing footsteps that clearly wasn’t his own, and he couldn’t help but grin just a tad more as he noticed a female tread across the stage. Of course it would be a cutie. Of course. Peering across at the other, he was quick to look her up and down, enjoying the eye candy that was provided by her figure. A red glint stole Zidane’s attention and he couldn’t help but pay extra attention to the light that claimed her sword in particular. Something told him that he would soon learn the effects of that light firsthand.
After hearing her initial words, Zidane was quick to infer by the motion of her sword that she didn’t want to sit and have a chit-chat. That was slightly disappointing, considering she looked to be interesting, but this was a tournament, after-all. Gloved hands tightened their grip on his held daggers as he looked into the frosty eyes of the other, Let’s proceed, babe! But first…I gotta ask the name of a lovely lady such as yourself,” he said, knowing full well the possibility that she may answer with that sword of hers first; and if she did, that would be to a certain blonde’s advantage…

There was something about this that seemed off, it was as if neither wanted to make the first move, as there was a good chance that whoever made the first move would leave themselves open for a counter attack. It was a basic thought process and a basic tactic in a one on one fight. In fact it was something that she remembered using in the prison during all of those fights for her life. Fights like this were not only a battle of power, but one of the mind, a battle of wits as it were. Though as she looked him after a bit more, she noticed the tail, something like that could be used if need be, by either of them. Though it might be cruel to target the tail, so that wouldn't be something she would do, it wouldn't be fair, unless he started to use said tail in the fight itself, then it would be a prime target.
Though when the words from him hit the air, she could help but look at the young male, as if he were trying to test her to see how she would react, she would once again spin the blade around causing the glowing light to make a trail, however she didn't attack with it. Instead she lowered it to the ground as she kept a watch on the male, and when she spoke her voice was almost akin to a shell of a person. "...My name is Weiss. Or you can call me by the name I was...called by in the prison...I was held in...for false charges...Norie. ...Am I to guess that you will offer your name as well...?" It may seem like her guard as been dropped, it may seem as if she were completely defenseless but that wasn't the case, that was not the case at all.
The longer she stood there, the more and more the wind caused her hair to dance around as if it were a living being, and sadly, with the stance she had taken her dance was floating up a bit more, giving a peek at the black colored undergarments that were there, who knows if things actually got started the higher chance there would be for the monkey boy to get a full view. Perhaps it wasn't the best of ideas to have worn the dress for this, but that's neither here nor there. As relaxed as she seemed she was quite ready to react at a moment's notice....

"Zidane Tribal,” he replied, averting his eyes from her odd colored orbs to focus on the trail of red emitted from her sword. The way she held her sword suggested a lax nature but her very words also suggested she boasted quite the amount of experience in prison. Her guard clearly wasn’t let down, and this thought Zidane could not help but smirk. Her experience behind bars, his experience in the art of thievery, this would be an interesting bout, and further events would reinforce such thoughts.
The wind chose the opportune time to increase in intensity, whipping through the genome’s relatively light clothing and Norie’s as well by the looks of it. From the other’s dress came a flash of black which Zidane was unsurprisingly quick to label as the color of her panties. Black…differently an interesting choice of color that through Zidane’s experiences eyes, was somewhat uncommon. A displaced howl invaded his ears, as the already powerful wind increased even further, sending the male away from the other. Arching his back forward and planting a fist onto the stage, he decreased the distance blown back, his eyes never leaving Norie as he was pushed away.
Heh, way to make and break my day at the same time, oh wind god or whatever.
It wasn’t long before the force died down, and Zidane stood to feet, taking a quick second to analyze the other’s reaction. She didn’t seem at all affected by his rather direct form of speech, making no acknowledgement or even body language signals that would provoke either a defensive nature or an offensive one. In fact, her stance as well as her eyes held no emotion. Knowing that his simple cautionary tactic provided little change from her, he decided to take the next step. Holding the held daggers out to the side, a simple brown treasure chest from above fell near the cutie before him. Not even three seconds later did said chest open up, launching a plethora of different explosions into the air that could potentially harm her, obstructing his vision and likely Norie’s too, due to the smoke and various level of fire released.
With that, the first attack was sent.
Clearly was not a time for upskirts but Zidane lowered his body towards the ground, his tail skating the smooth floor carefully. The bait was set and he was ready for what was to come.

This seemed to be a wonderful place to have a battle when you really thought about it. It would keep both fighters on their toes, it would make sure that things didn't go by unnoticed, with the winds, and then even the movement of the very platform. That none of that was at the top of her lists right now. The thing that was keeping most of her attention was the young male that she had been matched against. Thus far it had simply been idle chatter and little else. There would have to be something soon, this wasn't a social gathering, nor should it be. They signed up for a fight, a test of skill, not to sit in random places that they wouldn't normally have access to. The only thing that she wasn't truly sure of is how the male would really fight once it got serious. Of course she noticed the weapons, but what else could there be?
Though before there was much time to think on such things, the gale winds kicked in, pushing each fighter a good distance away. It was at this point that she knelt down and moved with the wind as to not cause too much resistance. however the winds were still rather strong, and because of this the overcoat she usually wear got caught and taken from her, though she didn't mind. She didn't care. After all, something like that could simply be bought again. It wasn't as if it would be the end of the world. Biding the time she had, she continued to watch the young male until the winds had finally ceased allowing movement again. Slowly standing, she kept her hollow sapphire orbs on the boy, that was until the chest that he had summoned came into her field of view. And even then she didn't bat an eyelash at it.
When the thing opened and produced the explosives, there was a very faint smile on her face before the smoke from the explosions went off, and she didn't even try to avoid the flames, in fact she allowed them to wash over her as she then allowed the blade to swing through some of the smoke, to give her a way of what the young woman was doing, and there, in the midst of the smoke and flame, she stood. Perfectly fine, not bothered by the flames one bit. It was then that her finger slipped to the trigger of the blade, a glyph appearing at the point of the sword, and slowly growing in size. She then pointed it toward where the male was, the glyph bursting into flame as the shell in the chamber had been cast, causing the spell effect to be unleashed as the energy from the glyph rose straight to the heavens above.
Within moments, on the male's side of the arena, a rain of flame started to fall, it started to pepper the ground. The rain of flame lasted for a few moments, however it didn't completely cover the other side of the arena, there was no promise that the male would be hit at all, if nothing else she was merely showing him what she could do as well, such as he did with the chest. Though, while the rain of flame was happening, she pressed the trigger again to load a different shell into the blade, and this time it started to glow as white as her hair and clothing. "I fear that this wind will show a bit more than I would like...I know he has already gotten a peek...However that was all it was. ...If he knew it was a thong...Silly me, I need to get different undergarments after this I think."
And now that the weapon was ready again she took a stance to get ready for whatever might happen for the next set of exchanges. After all, it seemed as if they were both just getting started.
