An enclosed area but with plenty of hiding spots. Two floors. Though it's rather dark the main open area is well lit and could be used as a place to attack from. There is one enemy which will attack the people in this place. It appears on the main floor every five posts and will take it in turns to attack each character until they both leave the main floor. He will still chase down a character even if they've left the main floor if their enemy is still on the main floor.
Rules:- • No stats. • No upgrades. • No godmodding. • 48 hours to post, if you don't post in 48 hours you will be penalized and lose points. • Post after the time limit three times and you'll automatically forfeit. • If you dodge a lot of attacks and it doesn't seem possible or feasible then you WILL be penalized for it and you will LOSE win points. • Do not say that you definitely hit, this will lose you points. Instead state that you 'attempted' to hit rather than dictating that it's a definite blow. • Do not try doing a ton of things in one turn. If you use a couple of spells or skills then that is your turn used up, you may defend, dodge and counter during the same turn though. • The more fluid you are with your attacks and movements the more points you gain. Even if you lose the fight you may win based on points.
Easy come, easy go. That's just how you live, oh. Take, take, take it all. But you never give.

She stepped in to the arena. Taking a deep breath she wondered why she bothered with this to be honest it was just so stupid to come in to this so unprepared but hey she may as well give it a shot right? Standing in the area with her staff she took a glance around and then she set out. Strolling around the area with that glowing staff that could light up the darkest places she took a look around this arena. This dungeon like place where she'd be fighting someone. What was his name again? Dominique? Something like that.
She was quick on her feet due to passives and her damage resistance was decent enough and then on top of that her auto-float would make her possibly a little more difficult to hit and her geomancy because of her daddy would help when she was using spells. A light sigh escaped from her as she wandered around in the darker hiding places her staff giving away where she was but she didn't really mind or care.
Peering over a balcony she looked down and then when she saw the other person head in she smiled and waved.
"Hey! Let's make this a good show yeah? Doesn't matter who loses or wins. Let's just have some fun." She laughed a little before she took off running and hid in one of the alcoves that were around. It was time to get this party started. She'd let him make the first move though.

Currently the reason as to why he had signed himself up for this tournament slipped his mind completely. While it was true that he needed to practice his archery skills from time to time, he didn't necessarily like the thought of fighting for sport. Not sport, just practice. That line of thinking sort of rationalized it for him, but he was still unsure. Not much he could actually do about it now though. Walking into the arena he took a small note of the area. Really enclosed with plenty of hiding spots it seemed. Useful for firing arrows at his opponent it seemed. What was her name though? Rhyn?
"Right. This will be good practice at the very least," It seemed that she didn't have many qualms about fighting a kid or rather a person who looked like a kid. That was good at the very least. Readying his bow, Dominique took to testing the drawstring as she ducked behind one of the many alcoves. It appeared to be in good condition still. Pointing his bow so it was angled slightly up, Dominique attempted to fire off a normal arrow before attempting to go behind one of the alcoves himself. He wasn't expecting it to hit of course, but rather he wanted to see how she reacts.
She heard the words that were spoken to her and while in hiding she smiled. Poor kid. Sure she didn't have any problems fighting with him but there wasn't any way in hell she'd hurt him too badly. Was she going to have to forfeit the match just because her opponent was a little kid? Nope. She couldn't forfeit. That'd make her look soft. So even if she lost she'd have to make it look good.
When she heard the twang of the drawstring on the bow? She moved, launching over the balcony she used her staff almost like a pole to vault further forwards and land on the ground. She of course bent her legs when she landed and then she set off. Rushing towards where she assumed he'd gone in to hiding.
"No hiding kiddo." She grinned as she rounded the corner her staff ready for a spell.
"HOLY!" The crackle of a white light spell rang out around the area and a bolt of light descended, whether it hit her enemy or not she didn't care but she wasn't going to let him hide. Not if he was using a bow.

Isn't that a bit hypocritical of her? Was his first thought when he heard the woman say 'No hiding kiddo.' for she had done the same thing as him previously. Not that mattered at the moment for he needed to move and fast. Was it common place to call the name of your spell before using it though? Sure it was nice to know what the spell's name was and all, but he thought it was a bit ridiculous. Still there were probably worse ways to telegraph a move. Still he didn't need the move's name to know it was coming. The bright white light from the light spell was enough to tell him that he needed to move. Vampires and light mixed about as well as water and electricity did after all.
It was likely that she wasn't going to let him get a good vantage point for firing arrows unfortunately, but then again he almost expected that. I'll figure something out later. Was one of many thoughts running through his mind before he rolled out of the alcove he had took to hiding behind moments before the bolt of light descended. He was careful to make sure he didn't harm his bow during his roll at the very least. Two can play the magic game. Even though the only magic he knew wasn't for attacking per say, he was sure that it would be useful.
"Silence," He tried to say it in the lowest tone possible, but still was loud enough for her to hear him say it unless she had hearing problems. Sure he was being rather hypocritical compared to his earlier thoughts, but it was easier for him to say the name of the spell before casting at the very least. Things would probably be bad for him if she had more magic like that, so he honestly hoped that the spell would hit it's target. If it did then great for him, but if it didn't he hoped that he'd find enough room to shoot from a sage distance.

He cast a spell at her and what did she do? She ran right in to it, she didn't stop either, she took it head on regardless of if it was successful or not and as she rushed through it she span, while spinning and swinging her arms from left to right she switched out her staff for her power sword and she aimed to hit him and hit him hard, the gentle rev behind the engine of the weapon and the plume of smoke probably didn't help matters for the kid.
I'd join him in archery but I have no bow. She thought as she tried to bring the blade back around from the right, back the way it came. She might lose but she sure as hell wasn't going to make it easy.
She would've used some fire but of course, she was silenced because she charged in to the spell and it connected full force thus it was successful. However her physical strength was now much higher and her speed was more or less on par with the other persons. So perhaps this would be a very enjoyable fight.
Note:- Since she ran in to the Silence spell I'm going to say it hits her because I'm a good sport like that. Since he didn't state how long silence lasts I'm going to put that here. Stops a single target/enemy from casting spells for two turns/posts. So this turn since she's silenced would count as one.
