When working Razaphale is hard to get to know. Often cold and distant he seems like an ass and is honest with his feelings towards people to a fault. He isn't afraid to speak his mind, or cut someone down a few notches. If he thinks someone is being stupid he'll damn well say so. He doesn't take garbage from anyone and he seems to like his solitude.

One of the best things about Razaphale is he never gives up. Even if it looks like he's going to get killed he will not stop until he takes his last breath, though he does know when to cut his losses and if it doesn't seem like he CAN win? He'll leave but not without giving his enemy something to remember him by.

Razaphale may not seem to want friendship but he does. He's just extremely picky on whom he allows to get close and he's always wary of new people. He'll often make some excuse to leave if things seem to be getting sappy and 'friendly' as to avoid getting to know people better. If he feels you're trust worthy and that you're willing to help then he will allow you the benefit of the doubt.

Now having said all that there is a nicer side to Razaphale, a side that only his closest friends get to see. Or those that know him out of work.

Razaphale is a quiet and reserved individual who generally has a strongly-felt internal sense of duty, which lends him a serious air sometimes and the motivation to follow through on tasks. Organized and methodical in his approach, he can generally succeed at any task which he decides to undertake.

He is very loyal, faithful, and dependable though this is often hard to see. He tends to place great importance on honesty and integrity. He is a "good citizen" who can be depended on to do the right thing for his friends, family and community. While he does generally take things very seriously, he also usually has an offbeat sense of humor and can be a lot of fun.

Razaphale is extremely dependable on following through with things which he has promised. For this reason, he sometimes gets more and more work piled on him. Because Razaphale has such a strong sense of duty, he may have a difficult time saying "no" when he's given more work than he can reasonably handle. Of course this doesn't mean he won't complain about it afterwards.
