A sigh escaped the woman as she wandered, having just woken up not all that long ago her legs were still wobbly from well over twenty-four hours rest. Taking a couple of deep breaths the woman looked at her hands. They still hadn't healed and they had a week or so before this trial began. What would she do if she couldn't wield a blade? She couldn't rely on Shinta to fight for her. That wouldn't be right and of course she didn't like being a damsel in distress.
Swallowing a little she stopped at a store to buy a few things and then she went back home, putting the things away before she left the house yet again. What for this time? To try and find an ally. To make some friends. Possibly find someone she could ask to help her during this trial. So far it was only her and Kenshin and they still had to find two others to help them.
If they didn't...
What would happen then? She didn't want to think about that right now and so she pushed herself onwards. She didn't internalize the stress. She couldn't afford to be sick right now. So instead she'd let it out. Relax a little. Make sure that she didn't get too upset.
That was the way things were supposed to be.
With that in mind she was now dead set on her search. She would find someone by the end of the day. She was sure of it. She needed to. Not only for herself but for her Shinta, to save him the hassle.

After finding herself in this strange new place, the first thing Sophie thought to do was try to find her friends. Of course she wasn't having much luck at the moment. It wasn't like the purple haired girl was going to let such a thing like that stop her. The way she saw it was that if she had ended up here then her bonds with the others would draw them here as well. Sure it was a rather naive and idealistic way to look at things but that was the way her mind worked. Blinking a few strays of sunlight out of her eyes, Sophie admired a small flower which was just sitting in a small garden in a small residential district. In a way the tiny flower reminded her of the Sopherias growing in the garden in front of Lhant Manor. Of course this flower seemed just a tad bit different as it's shade of purple seemed to gradient down to red at the tips of it's petals.
"I wonder what it's called," The girl, bending her knees to get a closer look at the flower, muttered to herself. Even though she tended to a garden back at Lhant the girl had never saw a flower that looked like this one did. Briefly her thoughts wandered to whether or not she could get a seed for this flower but she decided against it. For some reason she doubted whoever owned this garden would take kindly to her barging into their home and demanding a flower seed. Besides she honestly doubted that Asbel would take well to that kind of sudden behaviour. Speaking of Asbel she had spotted a manor nearby for sale that reminded her of Lhant Manor. If she could ever find the maroon haired boy she could try and persuade him to buy the place. One of her reasons was that Asbel held the majority of the group's gald and the other was that it seemed like the perfect place for everyone to gather at.
Sophie was never really good with counting money which is why she never held the gald. Sophie really wasn't sure how much that manor was but she doubted it was too much gald. Just then, distracting her thoughts momentarily, Sophie noticed a woman with flowing light blue hair. Out of curiousity Sophie decided to walk closer to the pretty woman. The woman seemed to be deep in thought from what Sophie could tell though about what she couldn't say. Was there something wrong or was she pondering what to eat for dinner? If it was something dinner related then Sophie could suggest Crablettes. Still Sophie couldn't help but draw closer in curiosity.
Hello~ Is something the matter?" The girl inquired when she had finally drawn closer to the woman.

She heard footsteps but they were all around as other people roamed the streets. However the ones she listened in too were rather light and headed right towards her. The figure judging by the sound probably wouldn't be all that big. At most she'd expect to see or hear the voice of a woman or very slender man.
"Hello~ Is something the matter?" A young girls voice and Emiko stopped walking for a moment, a soft almost drowsy smile playing on her pale features. Things seemed to be well and this young lady before her had a rather strange hair color but a lot of people here did. It seemed normal for the most part.
"There's nothing wrong dear. I'm simply looking for a good ranged fighter and a healer. It's to help with a rather big task." Emiko didn't hide anything instead she just smiled in an almost lazy way.
"Are you lost? I can show you around if you'd like, perhaps if you're hungry we can stop at a cafe along the way?" The young woman spoke her voice rather gentle and possibly comforting. Maybe one day she'd make a good mother, just not right now when things seemed to be so very hard.
"Are you looking for anyone at all? It's not good for a little girl to be out here all alone." A simple question and her reasoning for it as well, though she wasn't sure what the answer was she hoped this little girl she was speaking too had some friends around. It wasn't good for a girl of this age to have no friends after all.

"There's nothing wrong dear. I'm simply looking for a good ranged fighter and a healer. It's to help with a rather big task." Sophie beamed at that not because she was happy that the woman needed a fighter for some reason but rather that the woman was straightforward with her. While she did in fact have a rather childlike mindset, Sophie didn't really like it when people lied to her because of her youthful appearance. In Sophie's mind honesty was a valuable thing. The girl was naturally curious so it really did her no good for her questions to be brushed off in such a manner. Sophie just had to wonder what sort of task was so big that it required warriors. There were many possibilities for such a need but it was probably better for the girl to ask the woman directly.
"I can heal but why do you need those?" Sophie, tilting her head in thought, questioned the woman. The fodran being really wasn't able to understand what sort of task made such a group of people necessary unless it was a quest to save the world. The white haired woman didn't really look like the hero type though Sophie knew well that looks were deceiving at time. Sophie herself knew that she looked to be a young teenager at the least but her real age was unknown even to her. Then again the world that she found herself in didn't really seem to need saving unless she was missing something. Was it the sort of danger that couldn't be spotted right off of the bat like with Lambda? There were so many questions swirling around in the young girl's mind with very little answers to her questions.
Sophie had to pause and think about it for a moment however when the woman asked her if she was lost. What defined being lost in the first place? Sophie wasn't really sure of what it really meant to be lost. The girl had never really questioned it during her adventures back on Ephinea and Fodra. If she were to go off of limb and choose whether she was lost or not Sophie would probably say she was. Her walk really had no aim to it other than stopping to smell the flowers, both figuratively and literally, along the way and finding her friends. Seeing no other answer to the woman's question, Sophie nodded her head to confirm that she was in fact rather lost. At the mention of a cafe Sophie's stomach rumbled. She figured that a cafe was a place to eat at given that the white haired woman mentioned stopping there if she was in fact hungry.
"Does this cafe sell Crablettes?" It probably sounded like a strange question for the other woman but when it came to Crablettes Sophie was single minded. "I'm looking for my friends." Sophie continued when the woman asked her if she was looking for someone. Almost instantly Sophie was reminded of the fact that she still needed to find one of her friends. It really didn't matter who she found as long as they were alright in the end. Sophie knew that she couldn't of been the only one not from here that ended up here. All it would take was probably some time but she was sure that she would find them one day no matter how long it actually took.

Emiko took note of how happy the girl seemed at her answer. How odd. The woman never would've thought that someone would actually be... Pleased to hear something like that to be honest. The idea and notion never crossed her mind, though the girl could be happy for other reasons, her reaction still seemed rather strange.
"I can heal but why do you need those?" Emiko blinked, this young lady was a healer? She certainly didn't seem like a healer, more a child then again looks could be deceiving that was something this woman had learned. When the girl nodded at the question of being lost, Emiko sighed. That was a horrible thing, to be lost and in such a big place too.
"Well it's a rather long story to be honest, it would be best to discuss it over food and perhaps something nice to drink." She laughed slightly as she stood there thinking about possible things to eat and drink. What a time to think of food. The rumble of the girls stomach gave every indication that Emiko had been correct to suggest food. Something that this woman on trial appreciated, being correct for once.
"Does this cafe sell Crablettes?" A tilt of the head and wide eyes as Emiko blinked.
"I'm not entirely sure, we can see, if they don't have them then perhaps I could make them for you sometime if you know the recipe." Emiko did enjoy cooking, it was one of the things she was good at, after all her father taught her well.
"I'm looking for my friends." A slight sigh escaped Emiko as she now lead the way to the nearest cafe.
"If you have a description of them, then I will keep an eye out for them and tell them you're looking for them. I know what it's like to be lost without your friends... It isn't very fun being alone..." Stopping she now lead the way inside and towards a table. Setting the items she'd already purchased down she took a look at the menu.
"They have sushi and tempura... I miss sushi I wonder if it's anything like the sushi and tempura I make..." Well she already decided on what she wanted. Sushi and fish tempura. Giving a smile she sat back and now she just waited for Sophie to order.
"Now then, why I need a ranged fighter and a healer, myself and my... Um... Boyfriend... Are to go on a trial, we've been approached by someone claiming to be the creator of the universe... We have a little time to prepare and if we pass this trial we'll be the Sun God and Moon Goddess... It's a little daunting really but I said I'd try because he's trying and I... If he passes I don't want him to have to live and watch me grow old and die... It wouldn't be fair after everything he's been through... All he ever wants is to help so I'm going to be by his side every step of the way and do my best to support him." Her eyes watered slightly at the idea of being separated. It took years for them to be brought back to one another and just to have all hope dashed on the rocks like that hurt horribly. The tears didn't come though and she smiled as the sadness passed.
Now all she could do was wait to see what this young lady thought. Any sane person would think she were bonkers but alas that was the trouble here, seeming like she was normal which she was and telling the truth again which she was, then making those people she asked for help believe her. That was the big problem, getting the help of people who actually believed all this, they were probably few and far between which saddened this swordsmith greatly.
