It was about time for things to get done. Or rather, her nerves were finally getting high enough for her to actually do this. And well so long as it was here at their home it would only be the male that she was doing this for would be the only one to see it. Still, it was something that she wasn't used to, something that she didn't really like to admit to doing, and she still didn't think she was all that appealing to the eye. But that was just because she wasn't used to hearing something otherwise. Though it seemed to be something that the male she was staying with liked to tell her almost on a constant basis. And while it was hard for her to believe it always made her blush and get flustered. She was shy about things like this, and she still really didn't know how to handle it. It was nice to hear, and she was getting used to it slowly, but still. She really didn't think she was all that special. Not to mention her hair was odd and all of that.
Letting out a soft sigh, she was in her room getting ready to do this thing. She tied her hair back in a ponytail with a bow and then she slowly starts to change into something that she had bought in the city before coming back to Lysef. And she was doing this all for Kai, this was something that she said she would do and she wouldn't back out of it now. That wouldn't be kind to the male and she didn't like backing out of what she said she would do. Even if it would embarrass her like no tomorrow. As she was pulling her hair back she noticed that more and more of it was becoming golden and while there was still purple to it, it was mostly the changed color. Perhaps it would stop changing now? She did enjoy the purple color of her natural hair, but she also liked the way it was looking now. Then again that might be the only thing that she really liked about herself, or rather the only thing that she would admit to liking. It wasn't as if she hated herself, nor was she looking for attention. She just wasn't used to getting it from the opposite sex, or at all really.
"Oh, I can't believe I'm actually going to do this. But I did go and buy them and I don't want the money to have been wasted but still...What if he doesn't like it? What if I just make a fool out of myself. Or what if he really doesn't like it, but he just says he does so I don't feel bad? Oh, this is just a mess. But there's no turning back now I guess." Letting out a soft sigh she finished getting changed into the swimsuit that she bought, wrapping a cloth around her hips, she would then walk out of her room. And while it was a one piece suit that covered her stomach it was rather form fitting. And because of that she felt a little awkward, but thankfully it was a nice day out today, a bit too nice for her usual dress. So this would be the best day to try and get this out of the way. Or at least that's what she thought anyway.
It was then that she went to the kitchen and started to get some food ready for when the male returned home. She was humming softly as she did this and it seemed that keeping busy was keeping her mind off of how awkward this was going to be once he returned. And it seemed that her timing was rather good, because as the food had been completed, and it was a roasted duck with seasonings that she picked out, with some other things on the side, and as she was setting it out on the table she heard him return. She took in a deep breath and her face was already a faint shade of red. "I...I um...Made food for us. I hope you like it, Kai. And u-um...W-welcome home." She smiled a bit as she would fidget from side to side and then she looked down to the ground, waiting for how the male would react to both the food and the sight that waited for him. Her in a swimsuit. Who would have thought that would be worthy of being called a surprise.
