The events of those nights past were still on her mind. Just what was that creature that appeared? It was something that didn't even seem like it was a normal being. And the fact that it was able to make one as powerful as Lenore feel as it did. There was something more to that creature than met the eye. But sadly, none of the research that she was doing was going nowhere. Nothing would turn up and nothing would point in any direction. Then again it would be too easy if she had found anything to work off of. Perhaps going back down to the beach would be a good idea. To see if things were still holding stable. Then again she wasn't nearly as powerful as Lenore, so if they beast broke out she wouldn't stand a chance. However there was something about it that had peaked her interest. It was something outside of the normal, that was clear. But it wouldn't do anyone well if she does go back there and lets it out of the pocket space that Lenore had trapped it in. This was a bit more of a troublesome instance than even she cared to admit.
Sitting upon her bed, she looked around for her familiar and then remembered that it had gone home with Lenore to help calm the woman down. Letting out a soft sigh she slowly got out of bed, her nude form showed scarring along her back and hips. Though the scars looked more like burns or something from spells backfiring on her. Slowly she got dressed, placing her under garments on and then a long black skirt, then a long sleeved blood red shirt that was a button up. And on top of that she placed her usual long black coat over it all and then slipped gloves on over her hands and then the last thing she placed on was the odd skull that she always had with it. It was as if she wore it to remembered something, but if that was the case, what was she remembering? That was something that only she would know of at the time. Unless she trusted someone enough to tell them a bit more about herself, but such things were hard for her to do at this point. Too many people in the past had tossed her to the side and abused that trust...
Placing her boots on she then walked toward the door, and once outside her home she looked around and then started to go to the center of town. Looking around the place as she walked her thoughts were still roaming to all of the events that took place and how powerless she felt when all she could do was try to play a supportive role. It was odd to her to be doing something like that when she usually places harm onto other people. It wasn't something that she enjoyed doing, but certain times called for certain things, and because of that she would do what was needed. Like now. This battle, this war...It seemed so pointless, and yet at the same time so important. Had the Gods of this place acted far sooner than everything would have been alright. But it seemed that even the gods here had their flaws of curiousness. That can be said for everyone. Even her. One who would swear that her emotions were locked away deep within herself, but perhaps that too was only a lie. A ruse, something that she used to defend herself from the world around her.
Pulling out the rather large tome that she used, she stared at it. "I have to truly wonder if you are upset with me for living so long with your curse upon me. ...Or perhaps you are happy as I have given you more and more knowledge along the way. Either way...I will not let another person fall victim to you as I have. So you will either have to deal with me for all time, or we will both perish in the end. I will not deny that the knowledge you have given me is helpful and wonderful. But...This price is rather steep one. You will get no one else under your influence so long as I live." It might have seemed odd that the woman was talking to the book, but she knew that it was able to hear her and that it was paying attention to her. And because they have been bound together for so long, it was more than happy to keep that bind going for as long as it could with this woman. She had supplied it with more knowledge than it could have wished for. But it was a little upset that she said it would perish with her.
Now holding the tome, the woman started to slowly make her way toward the beach. The draw to this place, the thirst for knowledge about everything that had happened that night, it was still playing over and over in her head. Though once she was near the beach she stopped. She wouldn't get close to the place where the beast was sealed. That wouldn't be a good idea for her or anyone else that was around that night that knew it was sealed there. She would then tilt her head a bit as she started to feel her familiar getting a bit closer, perhaps that meant that it was finding it's way back to her at this point. Either way, she stood there, in complete silence as she watched the waves, still holding the tome and letting the soft winds blow through her hair. This was a good place to stop and rest for a moment. The scene was peaceful, even with the events of a couple nights prior. "...This is all just the start is it not? There is going to be more to this than I first thought. ...I need more power to make a difference...Perhaps I am not quite ready to die after all..." And with this faint words she stood there. Watching and waiting for whatever may happen.
