Confrontation (Matty)

Vold closed his eyes and kept waiting for him. He was sure that this was place that he was going to show up. So all he had to do was wait patiently and hope that he does show up. In the end he was doing this to see a few things. Matty was unpredictable through and through, from his scent to the way he acts. Vold can't fully figure him out and that is where the overprotective instinct came in. If he couldn't figure it out then he would strike him down. That was how he was taught, allies protect and enemies strike them down.

"So you were waiting for me right? Why are you even here."

"So you did came, I figured that you would be too afraid of me to do so." Vold opened his eyes and saw the child. While the person in front of him did have a body of a child he knew that it wasn't his true form. It was an older one, Vold saw him a couple of times but the question remained why was he in a child's form? Why did he attached himself to Agosto of all people, was it to take advantage of his kind and almost naive personality? That just angered him even more, but he kept the anger in check. "As to why I'm here I want to talk to you."

"Well you had to have a major reason to be out here...? I still don't get what I did to you."

"I want some answers brat, that is all." Vold slightly narrowed his eyes at the boy, he wasn't even sure if he was playing dumb or actually had that sincere expression of clueless. Either way he was going to find out now. "So tell me how did you get this way? Because I know that isn't your real age or body. You may have changed ages but the scent is still the same. I don't know what you did so that Agosto couldn't recognize you but I want to know. What are you planning with him, are you going to use him for your own selfish reasons?"

Vold dropped his arms to his side and crouch down to look at Matty better. "Tell me why are you hiding the truth from Agosto. He loves you like you're his son. Hell he's being more responsible than usual. So why are you hiding from him that is what i want to know as well." Vold knew that Agosto had attached himself to this Matty but he also got attached to the older one in the past. There was really nothing he could do about it but accepted, but he wasn't going down without a fight. "Do you think its fair for him to be in the dark?"

Vold knew that getting to the bottom of all of this was not going to be easy. Hell it was going to be the hardest thing he has done so far as far as interrogating kid. well technically he wasn't a kid at all, but a grown young man who as passing off as a kid. Though Vold didn't understand why was he doing this, why was he going along with it? Why was he lying to Agosto about this, it just didn't make any sense. His brother was one of the nicest, most naive, but nicest people around.

"I don't know okay! I didn't ask to look eight I'd rather be in my nineteen year old body thank you! but something happened and I bet my master is too blame!"

"Yeah well whatever the hell you did you're stuck with this now but that doesn't answer my question now does it? What did you do to end up like this in the first place? More importantly, why haven't you told Agosto about this." Vold narrowed his eyes at the young child. He'd be damned if this brat would hurt his brother. He was not going to let that happen, if he had any intentions to do so in the future then Vold would rip out his throat, child or not. "Then can't you get your master to change you back?"

"For your information I didn't do anything..He just doesn't seem to notice who I am yet. And when he does he'll suffocate me with more hugs then I want to imagine I bet..."

"That does sound like him."  Vold murmured as he looked down at the sand then back at Matty. Agosto would be excited to see his friend again, the child in front of him was only an illusion. A thing that was not real, he knew this and so did Matty. So if and when he breaks this spell what as going to happen in reality. That was something that Vold knew will come very soon. "And yet he would lose a son and gain a friend, you think that is fair to him? You continuing with this charade."

"I WOULDN'T USE YOUR BROTHER! Don't you act like you know me. because you don't."

"Its because that I don't know you that I don't trust you." Vold growled back. "What the hell you do think I would think when some stranger is around my brother. Do you think I would just think you were some innocent child when we both know you're not. Tell me what hell would  you think if someone close to you was approached by a random stranger that might have the power to kill them, hmm?"

"I haven't told him because...I just don't know. I want to find out to reverse it before I do that...he's so happy lately. I know it's not fair but he would probably just think I'm joking! and I can't show him that I'm not!"

"Once this is over, what do you think he is going to feel?" Vold pushed on, wanting answers in any way that he can get them. "He thinks of you as his own son right now. Having that taken away just like that do you think he will be happy on the inside? I know he will not show any distress in front of you nor me. He's too much of a hardheaded idiot to do that. He wants us to be happy and not worry about him." Vold let out a heavy sigh, "Fine then so tell me what are we going to do about this?"

Vold knew that this was going to get him nowhere but what else could he go on. There was just nothing else that he could think of at the moment. Matty's master would be able to fix the mess that he was in right now. As much as he didn't like the other the main problem was how to get him back to normal. He wasn't into magic, at least the sort of magic that Matty used to. His specialty was to support others while he fought with his fists. Other than that, there wasn't much magic he knew. Agosto knew a good amount of black magic.

"I don't know! I was working with a spell then this happened, and I ended up here. If my master had something to do with it he'd know! but he's not here."

"So I figured since you are still in that kid form." Vold raised an eyebrow and continued. "What kind of spell were you working on that made you into this anyway? What were you screwing around in the first place?"

There was the possibility of what Matty said was true, that if by some slim chance his master was in this world then he was keeping Matty in that state to teach him a lesson of some sort. However, That is something that he found unlikely. Not that he didn't have any sympathy for the guy but what he cared more right now was about Agosto. His brother still saw Matty as a son for some strange reason. That was another question on his mind, how did this gone to pass. How did Agosto got himself mixed up in all of this.

"It's not but how the hell am I supposed to tell him! How can I get him to realize...that I'm not a child even if I look like one. He'll just think I'm joking and I have no proof besides my over sized clothes."

Vold rubbed his temples, Matty had another point. Knowing Agosto, he would just laugh this off and be on his merry little way. Without some sort of proof he is going to see Matty as a child until he sees otherwise. "So you're saying that there is no way you can prove to him that you're not a kid but an adult then? That just perfect, this is starting to become a headache you know that?" Vold sat on the sat, still looking at the kid. "Remind me to strangle your master for getting you in this mess."

"Hah you think I could do that? I might have had the power to do something to him...but I don't have the heart to do that."

Vold had his eyes closed when Matty said that, they held a ounce of sincerity. He let out a small sigh, this was really getting out of hand. What was he suppose to say to that? Its not like he could call it a lie, not when they both knew it wasn't. Vold was a lot of things but he wasn't low enough to ignore that. "So tell me... what do you feel for by brother?"

"I know he won't! don't you think I get that, now if you want to do this find a way to turn me back!"

"I don't think I can, so just make me one promise. If you can keep it then I'll leave you and Agosto alone." Vold stared into the sea, he knew that this was the right thing. He was trying like he promised Lucine. "If and when you turn back, if I'm not here for Agosto for any reason. I want you to keep him safe, that's all I ask of you."

With the threats that have been around these days he wasn't sure what was going to happen anymore. He knew it was selfish of him to say that but he wanted to make sure that Agosto and Lucine were taken care of. Not that he is just going to lay down and die on the spot but it was better to be safe than sorry.
